The property will be available on an initial 6 month lease after this time and after that yearly. Three Bedrooms main with balcony overlooking garden. Lovely kitchen newly refurbished with D washer, seperate dining and good sized lounge, laundry and downstairs loo. Polished wood floors throughout and reverse cycle air con. Outdoor wooden deck for bbq's etc. House is down from the road level so fairly private and back garden is a natural setting with loads of trees, very pretty environment. Ferny Hills house for sale

I thought I would post in case anyone is on the search for something in Northern Brisbane. It's a 3br,1.5bath high set timber and brick home with pool and two entertaining decks and large rumpus room which we have designed to be a 'grandparent's retreat' downstairs with walk in wardrobe (great for family visiting from uk!). It's in a great area (Ferny Hills) 15 mins drive from the city but only 7 min drive from Samford Village and just on the edge of lots of national parks and picturesque Mt Glorious. Very safe and quiet suburb with lots of schools, parks, shops, transport etc at close hand. This area of town has also been tipped as the next property hotspot in Brisbane in the next few years due to the proximity from the city and transport link upgrades so it's definitely a great investment. The property is on the market and is going to Auction on the 26th of June. Let me know if you are interested and I'll PM a link

    Ferny Hills

Hi there, my hubby and I and one year old son are moving to Brissy in April, yay! We are looking for a nice clean safe good socio economic area with a good state primary school and a few things around for us to do including shops / places to eat or have a drink - plus access to the city where my hubby and I will be working. We are thinking we have found our place - Ferny Hills / Ferny Grove. Does anyone know the area or have any advice? We are looking to get a house for about 450k. Very excited!!
  5. Hi everyone Can anyone tell me anything about The Gap and Ferny Grove? We are currently living in Sydney and are looking to move . Brissy looks good, but I want to live in a really good area, as we live in a not so good area in Sydney at the moment. So any information on the above areas and more would be most appreciated. Thanks Angie
  6. Doing a bit of research on different areas, as we plan to make the move from WA to QLD at the end of this year. Already looking into Buderim and surrounds, but also very interested in Samford, Cashmere, Eatons Hills, Ferny Grove areas. We have 3 children 10, 8 and 6 and would love to hear all thoughts (the good, the bad & even the ugly!) We love the idea of being out of the city - but still accessible. A block no bigger than an acre. I would like to be near good schools - any info appreciated on private and state ones in the area. How far is Samford, Cashmere etc to shopping, after school activities (e.g. dancing, gymnastics, soccer etc). Family friendly? Like the idea of being rural (ish), but not the back of beyond. Any information on any particular estates, streets etc in the area, as we are always looking at houses for sale in these areas, and it's always good to have some local knowledge. We plan a visit July / August to narrow down this confusion, and decide what area is for us, then we can look into schools etc. Would love to hear from anyone with any info on the areas mentioned. Thanks.
