    FBI checks

Do FBI checks show the names put in the Alias box? (This would be a maiden name etc). If a name was left off would it matter for the visa application as finger prints are used as part of the check anyway? Thanks.

    FBI Fingerprinting in Pakistan

Hi Folks, I need FBI clearance certificate for my visa application since I lived in U.S for few years. Does anybody had experience of get the fingerprinting done in Pakistan, on FBI fingerprinting card. I did mine at home with regular ink pad but it was rejected by FBI. I was wondering if anybody has done it from any official agency in Pakistan. Please advice. Thanks.......
  3. I have searched the internet for an answer and can't find one. My husband and i need a USA police check (FBI check). We have different surnames. Should we send these separately in different envelopes or can we send them together? This seems like such a trivial question but I'm really confused by this. I'm guessing it should be sent in separate envelopes? Kind regards.
  4. Dear all, I am confusing. as you know, US government and agencies shut down due to debt ceilling (but heard they reached the deal yesterday 16th Oct). But on the FBI website, I've got the note as below: Note: Due to upcoming changes in processing, effective October 12, 2013, the FBI will no longer be accepting self-addressed stamped envelopes with Departmental Order requests. Envelopes received postmarked after this date will be destroyed. Thank you for your patience as we try to streamline our processes to improve our service to you. My question: 1) are they continue to process individual application from overseas if i mail my fingerprint form today? 2) what do they mean by "thank you for your patience as we try to streamline our processes to improve our service to you"? are they going to introduce new service? by how long? Thank you. Kind regards, GJMFL

    FBI Finger prints....

Hello, Anyone can tell me how to proceed for clearance from FBI if one has lived in USA for 2years???? But not a US citizen or current resident now. Please anyone in this forum could help......
  6. Hello All, I have a question regarding obtaining the PCC from the US and I will appreciate if someone can shed some light on this. I have lived in 3 states in the US for the last 8 years, so do I have to obtain PCC for all the 3 states along with the FBI clearance certificate? If yes then how long do DAIC provide to submit the same? I heard that FBI clearance takes around 2 months. Is there any way I can apply for that in advance or do I have to wait for the DAIC to request for the same. Also need to know regarding the meds as I am not aware as to how long DAIC provides to obtain the same and again the same question, will the time be sufficient to provide the meds and if not can it be done in advance? Please let me know of the same. Thanks.
  7. I am applying for my citizenship in Australia. Can someone please tell me how to go about getting my background check/police clearance certificate from FBI from USA where I was living before? Rao

    Damn &#)$(&*#$ fbi!!!

My CO requested my PCC and Health Check. Everything went smoothly apart from since I live in teh USA, they require an FBI check. Guess how long. 8-10 weeks, no wonder these useless *($^ can't catch any real terrorists. All they need to do is take the finger print card scan them into a computer and run a search engine and print some paper out. Compare to the in-efficiency and rudeness on the phone, the UK's ACRO check is a bliss! And the girls on the phone at ACPO are all very courtious and helpful. So due to some American imcompetency, I now won't know if I will get my Visa until maybe after the new year . Who knows what other crazy changes may come during this time... Curse you FBI. I also have a question - regarding the Healthy check, how long is it usually between Sydney receives the docs from my doctor, to them updating the doc list from "Requested" to "Met"??
