    Guilty Pleasures

I am trapped at home this week while tradesman do some work on the house and have found myself watching the Bold and Beautiful on TV each afternoon. I can feel my brain cells dying as I watch it and yet every afternoon at 4:30pm I sneak upstairs where nobody will see me and pop it on. What’s your guilty pleasure?

    Is anyone into Geocaching

For any that don't know what Geocaching is it is a free high-tech world wide treasure hunt (although you can restrict it to the area you live in if you want to) where you log on to the Geocaching site to get clues and then use your GPS to find caches hidden by other players. It's a fun outdoors thing to do especially if you like treasure hunts. You can look for other people's caches or set up your own for others to find. I only started recently and have been stunned by how many people (including kids) are doing it. There are special ones for kids where they can get little toys out of the cache provided they pop a replacement back into it for the next person to find. Is anyone else doing it?

    Evening entertainment

Well, we're in the process of emigrating to Brisbane (457 visa permitting), and we're pretty excited about the whole thing, but I did wonder... ...what do you do in the evenings if it gets dark at 6pm, and everything shuts? Is there more of an early rise, early to bed culture, or as soon as night falls does everyone lounge in front of the TV or xbox like we do in the UK for 9 months of the year?
  4. Hi all, This is our first thread, so here goes... Currently residing in Scotland and soon to be embarking on our new life in Perth, myself (29), my wife Louise (30) and children Ruby (4) and Ella (2) have our 457 visa granted (took 29 days!), flights are booked (27th July) and temporary accommodation sorted (Butler). Can anyone offer any practical suggestions as to how we keep the children entertained on our flight? We are flying with Singapore Airlines as direct as they fly (Manchester-Munich-Singapore-Perth) with no overnight stopovers en-route. Many thanks. Alistair

    Adult entertainment on WHV

Ok guys I have a quick question. I am a permanent resident which I received last year under the ENS. My girlfriend of 6 years lives with me on a WHV and at the end of 12 months she will be applying for a spouse visa. She has been offered casual emloyment as an adult entertainer- pole dancer to be exact. Something that's been a hobby of hers for a long time. My question is would this cause any issues with the department of immigration? Would they refuse her a spouse visa due to her emloyment? Or question our relationship in general? Thanks Nathan

    light entertainment!

This is quite probably one of Jean Michelle Jarres's efforts - although it's a good many years since he seems to have done anything like this. This is really good, use full screen if you can. By just using lights the building appears to move. This is really worth seeing. Só Riso Mail Vídeos Cómicos Funny Videos - Mais uma projeção 3D sensacional

    The Arts & Entertainment?

My daughter is a theatre director and manages her own theatre company called 'Hanrick Theatre Company'. She's set up in Leeds UK at the moment, but now that 'it' is up and running, what she does as the theatre's director and founder can be transported anywhere in thw world. So, are there any opportunities for someone like her to set up in Tasmania rather than the usual pilgimages that we are told have to be inevitably made to Sydney and/or Melbourne (not that thatw ould matter as at least she would only be a short plane ride away if she decided to set up shop on the mainland. Just thought there might be ppl out there on PIO who are involved in Performing SArts or Theatre work that may be able to give us pointers or encouragement for her to check out the scene in Tas, that's all. Kindest regards JaspXX
