  1. Hi all, I have just lodged my application for PR last week. As I understand, I am now eligible for Medicare. However my company has been paying for private health insurance on my behalf for the last 3 1/2 years. Question is : Do I have to let them know that I have lodge for PR and they can cancel the private health insurance? Or can I wait till I get PR granted to enroll with medicare and pay for my own private health insurance? Bottom line is I would like to keep enjoying their good health insurance cover as much as I can, but not sure if I can?? Cheers Lili
  2. Hi guys need some advice, been looking about but getting even more confused. So I have a 4 year old Born September 2006, we are living in Queensland and from what I can see it says he wont be due to start year 1 until he is 6 and a bit (2013) Is this right, its seems very late to be starting school. Also had a look at prep but does anyone know how much this costs on a bridging visa and also when you gain PR how much does prep cost? Thanks in advance.

  4. Hi Guys We arrive in Perth end of October. We are not sure to enroll children in school for last term in November or start them in the new term in February. My daughter (12) is keen to start in November, she wants to meet new friends asap, but my son is very keen not to !!:arghh: My son (14) is not a good mixer and has been bullied through out his school life ( primary & secondary). I would hate for him to start in November then finish in December and dread going back over the summer holidays. Anyone words of wisdom to help a troubled mum are very welcome X
