Hi guys, My boyfriend and I set up a joint bank account yesterday morning. We have been using his account entirely, and he asked the lady to shut it down and transfer the funds to our new joint account. Anyway, got home yesterday afternoon and logged on to netbank just to double check. On both our log-ins it says we have no account! Same thing tonight, it's been 36 hours or so. And our money is nowhere to be seen.... I'm assuming that it just takes a couple days for it to process and sort out, but just a little worried as the lady at the bank didn't mention there being any kind of delay with our accounts showing up. All she mentioned was that our cards would take 5 or 6 days to be posted through. Any solutions to put my mind at rest? Thanks! Sophie.
Hello Ozzie pet-lovers Last week Our Thomas, a piebald gypsy cob, vanished from Glenworth Valley agistment in Sydney, NSW. Our Thomas and his owners only moved to Australia two months ago. He is a very distinctive horse, with one blue and one brown eye, as well as having a hogged mane and feathers, and a brand. His owners are desperate to find him, so please, please keep your eyes and ears open, and if you have any information, pass it on. Contact details on following YouTube and FaceBook links. We started applying for our RSMS visa a long time ago (like everyone else it takes ages). We waited until we got an email from Dept of Immigration and Citizenship asking us to send on our medicals etc. There were some delays getting the medicals all sorted but finally everything was sent off and recieved at the LCU on 18th September. I have been keeping an eye on here and finally noticed someone had said that they had processed medicals recieved up to 28th September. I had not heard anything yet so I clicked the link for enquiries to the LCU and filled in the form and off it went. That was a week ago and I had not heard anything. Other people seem to have gotten replies the next day so I got a bit worried. So I decided to email the person that requested our medicals etc as I assumed she was our case officer. Well I got an automatic rely to my email telling me that the person would be out of office from early November this year until SEPTEMBER 2008!!!!!! :shocked:What on earth is going on? I don't even know if I have a case officer and I have no one to contact. I tried to contact ACT business centre but I don't know who to email. Does anyone have any advice for me? I am doing the application by myself so I don't have an agent to call and cry down the phone to. Thanks for reading even if you have no advice, I really needed to vent :arghh:
