Anybody can throw some light on my matter. I have applied ve 175 visa on OCT. 2008. That time I have submitted DIVORCE DEED made under Registrar. Later I have came to know that DIAC need Court Divorce decree and i have submit pitition in court to declare my Divorce deed legal and valid. After long time court gave me Divorce decree and said that your Divorce deed is legal and valid on MAY-2010. So what to do now? Can I submit Court Divorce decree now to DIAC? Need some Advice on it.
Hi, I am applying for a spouses visa, I am married to an Oz citizen by descent. I was however previously married. It asks for a decree absolute. But I can't find mine. Can you tell me if I need to send one in as I am married again so surely I would have had to prove that I was divorced before the marriage performed (which I did with said absolute) and is this in there purley for de fact relationships. I have a ahorrible feeling I filed it away somewhere (hopefully not the bin) thinking I wouldn't need it againa s I am married. If I do need it how do I go about getting a copy?
Guest posted a topic in Visa ChatHello All My partner (Aus citizen) and I are just going through the spouse visa application form 47SP. He was married to an Aus citizen back in the late 80's and the marriage broke down early 90's but he did not manage to get a divorce until 96 as his former wife was hard to track down. At the end of the application form it asks for both marriage certificate and divorce decree absolute. At the moment he cannot find either docs but can send away for the divorce decree absolute. I am wondering if anyone knows whether this will suffice onits own or whether he has to provide the marriage certificate as well. Any info would be useful. Kind regards Pandy
