HI Still awaiting for our agent to sort everything out, but we have one question to ask. We have been looking into the regions surrounding Brisbane and like the look of Deception Bay. Is there anybody in this forum who moved there on near there, or maybe be a local, to tell us what it's like and what the schools are like. Very interested in this area, look foward to some information. 8)

Hi I was just wondering what any one thought of Deception Bay North state school or Moreton Downs state School.We are looking at a house in that area.Also would any one know what Rothwell is like is it ok to bring up kids. Rowena

Hi I'm just trying to find out about Deception Bay and Rothwell. Is there any good places to live there, as peeps are sayin there not good areas. Is there a lot of crime there? hi, just looking at ares in Brisbane at mo. OH favours Deception Bay. Does anyone know anything about this area, Schools, House Prices, Beaches etc ? Any info would be fab cheers. Never been to Oz , so going blind so any help, THANKS Sue x:wacko::wacko:

Hi all moving out end of september on 457. We are so confused as to where to go. We can only afford between 250 to 350 a week rental, until we get house sold in UK. We would love new build. For you lot already there, can you suggest which area is great for kids, not too quiet, but also not tooooooooo far from a pub or shall I say Bar!! Do you have locals over there???? WOuld love to start a darts team!! hehe.... Would love to hear anyone's views as the hubby out first to set up camp and he's starting to panic...... Also how does the rent work, is there rates on top are they expensive. It comes down to what we can afford. Could really do with the help:idea: Cheers Jules

Hi Again Has anyone been to these area,s and know what the beaches are like i.e. good for children and the area's themselves. Also another question whats the story on sandflies are they a seasonal thing in certain area,s..........also apart from the mozzy and flies what other insects are pain............:goofy:
