Has anyone out there succesfully upgraded a DAB radio to DAB+? I have a UK-bought Pure Siesta DAB radio which I am hoping to upgrade via the USB to DAB+ in the hope it will pick up digital transmissions in Sydney. Thanks.

Just on the offchance does anyone have one of these and can confirm it works in Australia. From previous threads I gather your dab radio has to be dab+ to work which I don't think the Crown is. Have to tried to find info on the net but no joy. If nobody can confirm I won't bother packing it. Shame though, nice little radio.

Hi Does anyone know if UK DAB radio's will work in Australia, or if the technology is different? No point in taking ours out if it won't work! :confused: Thanks for any replies. KC

:spinny: Hi just wondering if anyone knows if DAB radio's work in oz has anyone taken one with them, I dont think I have ever seen them on sale in oz (mind you wasn't looking 4 em on me hols) do they? Any info would be great & bet alot of uk ers have them now just dawned on me all mine are! dont tell me i have to ebay em all dont get much more than a quid on there! lol thanks:smile:

Hi Everyone, Well after getting our visas last April we finally feel like we're on the last leg of our wait. (September being our chosen leaving date.) Can't wait!!:jiggy::jiggy: Anyway, I've got a stack system HiFi and one unit is DAB/Fm/Am Tuner. Well i don't know whether to take it with me. I don't think it's compatible with use in Oz, more precisely Queensland. I know on the paperwork with it it says it supports band III only and does say it does not support reception outside Europe. Which i know basically says it all but you never know. I've only had it just over a year and although it's a good quality one what i may get for it by selling it means i was thinking if a DAB replacement in Oz is dear i might hold on to it just to use the Fm/Am tuner side. I know it's a strange question but if anyone knows the score with these things in Oz i'd be so grateful.:notworthy::notworthy: Thanks Keith

Hi Anyone taken their DAB radios to Oz and do they have digital stations over there to tune into? Obviously the FM part of the radio will work but was just curious about the other. I'm sure they do. Paul
