  1. Hi guys:cute: I put my parents under "other family members" section when I applied for 175 (still waiting for CO), however I do have the plan to bring them over under contributory parent visas (subclass 143). I recently heard that if I put my parents under other family members instead of "non-migrating dependents", I will have trouble sponsoring them later because the selection of "other family member" in my application will automatically mean that I will not want them to come over in a later stage. Is this true? Is it necessary for me to inform the DIAC and put them under "non-migrating dependants", and if I do so, do they need to submit PPC/medical and will it make my applciation even longer?:chatterbox: Thanks!
  2. hello, I am confused with my EA assessment outcome. This April I was assessed as Environmental Engineer, the code is 2129-79 according to ANSO. However, ANZSCO came into effect since July 1, 2129-79 corresponding to 233999 is not included in SOL Schedule 3 but Environmental Engineer as a new seperate occupation 233915 is on the SOL.So what should I do to get my application in Priority Group 3? thanks in advance.
  3. After seeing NSW state list http://www.business.nsw.gov.au/migration/pdfdocuments/STNI_Criteria_STNI_Skilled.pdf Couple of things were puzzling in my mind, In the list under the ANZSCO code 261313 they have mentioned the specialization as Java. But according to the SOL schedule 4, previous ASCO code 2231-79 (Software Engineers with specializations such as Java, C#, C++ etc.) mapped with ANZSCO 261399 Also in above link, IELTS score mentioned as 7 and is it overall score or each component ? After seen this list, I was thinking probably they would have mistakenly mapped previous code 2231-79 (Software Engineers with specializations) into 261399. Based on this, I guess there will be a high chance that, if you have a successful assessment with 2231-79 (Java, C#, C++ etc.) and If you apply for a re-assessment you'll most likely get 261313. With ANZSCO code 261313 we can proceed with; GSM 175 with IELTS 7 (each component) ??? :goofy:
