  1. Hi we are moving out of our rental house in Perth (Carine) and only going 2km down the road to another rental place. We are trying to keep costs down. We hope to do a few trips ourselves in the car with boxes, but larger stuff like beds, book cases and tables, settees will have to go with a removal company. I have found one firm who will do it for $125 an hour (all in) - do you reckon this is the going rate - or can anyone recommend anyone else? We always like to go on recommendations. :cute::cute::cute::cute:
  2. Am I out of touch .....went to book myself in for a hair cut and the hairdresser tapped away on her calculator and said total treatment with conditioner and root colour:chatterbox: would be $310 dollars - errr no thanks. Now my 14 year old daughter has a party she is going to on Saturday night and wants her hair cut Saturday morning. Really don't want to spend the earth as she is only a teenager - anyone know of any reasonable hairdressers (maybe walk in ones) that could do a wash and cut for reasonable price for teenage girl in above areas ..... Cheers Sulac

    Carine Duncraig Rental??

Hi, we arrived in Perth last week - currently in temp. apartment but looking for rental in Carine/Duncraig area to move into in August..... ideally a modern 4x2 but would look at a 3x2 and would also consider a sale in region of $600K. Not much luck with estate agents etc - usually the property is already gone or they just don't call back. Was prepared for the dog-eats-dog market but it's worse than that!! Advice appreciated, Lou.

  5. Hi, We have just arrived (2 weeks ago) and are staying in Scarborough at the moment. We have 2 daughters aged 15 &14 who have just enrolled in Carine Senior High School so we are looking to rent in the Carine Karrinyup area. Our daughters are stuggling as they miss their friends and I am feeling a bit lost at the moment and would really appreciate a chat with someone who has been through the moving/settling in process, especially with teenagers. Thanks Lorna & John
