Hello lovely Sydney PIOers. Please come along to the Castle Hill Cavalcade this Sunday! Myself and a few other Hill's district PIOers will be there with our very own cake stand. This is to raise funds for our friend Aaron who has Cerebral Palsy and has been offered the chance of a life-changing operation. Just to make things clear, I am Chairman of Aaron's Next Steps which is a fully registered charity www.aaronsnextsteps.com If you would like to come along we would love to meet you - do you trust our baking though??? :twitcy: If anyone would like any more details feel free to PM me. Thanks very much. :wubclub: -

Hi Everone! Just arrived here in Buderim 4 weeks ago with my partner and 3 children, 2 boys, 11 and 5 and 1 girl,9. Wondered if anyone fancied meeting for a coffee one day when kids are at school and before I go back to work!!!! -
Hellooo... I'm on the Sunshine Coast and would l-o-v-e to sell my yummy cakes at local markets. After hours (upon hours) of phone calls and searching websites...I'm still scratching my head as to what I need in order to be 'legal'. Booked myself on a food handling training course (got my UK certificate, but thought it best to do an aussie one too!). Been on a brill council website, but I'm confused as to how I licence my kitchen at home so I'm legal to sell cakes at the market that I make at home...does anyone know? I've found these 2 threads...but I'm still confused?! http://www.lgtoolbox.qld.gov.au/SiteCollectionDocuments/_Generic%20Content/Environmental%20Health/Food%20Business%20–%20Temporary/Guidelines/Food_Licensing_Flow_Chart.pdf Overview Does anyone know the costs of product & public liaibilty insurance....or ANY info that they think will help. Alot of what I read seems to contradict itself...one document says you don't need a licence to sell cakes & biscuits...then I read somewhere else that I need my kitchen to be licenced.... Can anyone help??? Jenny :err:
