Hi all, Iam Pradeep and i have just decided to start immigration process to australia and i am preparaing for it. Iam totally new to this process. I would like to get useful advise on how can i submit my skills assessment to ACT (Australia Computer society). I would like to know the doucments i would need to submit and if possible the format in which i need to produce them. My friend recently migrated to Australia and told me that i could submit skills assessment to ACT even before i apply for IELTS exam. Please guide me with the process and iam would be really thankful...

hi there, me and my family now want to make the move. but i'm confused got so many question now. did a points test and passed that. found out that i needed to fill out a 175 sud-class visa, also found out thatwe need medicals and police checks, got all new passports, but now i've found out i need to be assesed on my trade (i'm a mechanical engineer (commercial plumber)). got certificates etc.. so we're in a bit of a spin don't know were to start cause i thought i filled the visa in and then they would ask for any information they needed when they needed it. plssssssssssss help :confused:

Hello My Company approached me yesterday with an opportunity to move to take up a position in Sydney. Its a great career move but quite honestly I know nothing about the city. I believe the office is somewhere near Rose Bay. I have a husband and two children (8&6). i need to understand what areas I should be looking at for renting a house. I have looked at the real estate websites but there is so much choice, and not knowing about roads and transport is not helping. I anticipate we would be looking at up to $1000 per week rental for a minimum three bed - cheaper would be better - and obviously schooling quality is very important. Any ideas? Hope you can help.:biggrin:

Hi, i'm new to this and would be really glad of any advice.I'.m going to apply for a de facto visa to live with my aussie boyfriend. We met last Oct 2009 while i was in Oz on a working holiday visa, after a few weeks we decided to make a proper relationship and i lived with him at his brothers house. My parents came out to Oz at Xmas to see us. My b'friend and i then returned to the Uk at end of April 2010 and have been living with my parents,sharing a bedroom. My b'friend is returning to Oz at end of Oct as he needs to go back to work.I have worked in Oz and have an Australian bank account. Any suggestions ans to make our case a strong one....? thanx Alice:confused
