    Bear Poll

Following on from Robs pic of the Panda bear I feel it only right to ask fellow PIO members what is your favourite bear species. It all goes toward research and will hope educate us in the ways of these marvelous animals.:biglaugh: PS. I KNOW A KOALA ISN'T A BEAR SPECIES.:idea::biglaugh: Cheers Tony.

    RIP Hope the bear

I dont know if anybody can remember me mentioning them a few weeks ago or if anybodys saw them on tv/internet but theres a family of bears that have been on tv, The mother is called Lily and her cub is called Hope. Researchers have been following them in minesota and we've watched hope grow up. Theres a few bears that have radio collars on them so the researches can track them etc. Sadly theres news that a hunter has killed Hope  very upsetting for everyone who watched her grow up, you couldnt help but grow attached. anyway the non animal lovers on here will probably think im nuts for posting this lol but just thought id mention it and see if anybody else has watched the program or knows of them
  3. Its just breaking on sky news that a British citizen has been mauled to death by a polar bear. It just got me to thinking ................ What way wouldn't you like to die? Sorry for sounding grim, but i think we all will have said, when theres a reported death on the news, that someone has died, or we know someone who has passed away and thought ............ i wouldn't like to go like that, i want to pass away in my sleep. My two that i can think of is to die slowly in pain and having worked in the mill, to die being dragged into a wool tearing machine and slowly crushed to death, that was in the news not long back. Anyone else got any?
