  1. Hi, I received a sponsorship letter from the South Aus (SA) gov in Sept 2008. I realised that their rules changed on 1 Jan 2009, but they confirmed that I still fall under their old rules (6 months to lodge an appl with DIAC as opposed to 60 days). I therfore completed my DIAC application last night online, and where given a TRN as soon as I made the credit card payment. I was taken to a screen with a document checklist, a function to attach scanned documents, and a function to create a password. I had a look at the document checklist (and realised that I had MOST of the required documents), so the next step would have been to scan the documents this week and attach them) I wrote down my TRN (as I am supposed to fax it through to the SA gov) I created a password (the function required it be entered twice) MY PROBLEM: When I tried to access the attaching of scanned documents to applications function afterwards, it kept on refusing my password. This worries me as I would like to get the documents attached to my application as soon as possible. I am not sure why my password being refused, but the DIAC site is quite vague on what my alternatives are. It states that "Applications lodged on or after 1 September 2007...If you lodged a paper application or you are unable to attach documents to the application online through the eVisa system they can be emailed to the department...adelaide.gsm.documents@immi.gov.au...When your application has been assessed you will be advised of a further email address to use in providing documents. Please only send documents to that address" ???? - I am now 100% confused, do I email the documents (such as passport bio page, sponsorship letter, etc) to the email address stated, or do I wait for them to ask for ANY documents??? The SA gov letter states that I must "FAX a copy of the full Notification document with the TRN number from DIAC together with a copy of this letter to Immigration SA on +61 8 8204 9244" - my online application did not supply a full Notification document, but did supply a TRN. It did however supply a full copy of my application which states the TRN. What exactly am I supposed to fax and is there any way I can make sure they received it and are dealing with it? Any advise greatly appreaciated. Et
  2. Hi all, My wife and I finally have all our paper work collated for our SS application, bank statements, mortgage statements, tenancy agreement showing our properties are being rented, Skills assessments etc etc. Now what? I take it all paperwork has to be cert copies which in turn has to be sent to ACT. Do I now go onto the business.act.gov.au/ website and use the Skilled - Sponsored subclass 176 visa link to apply? Can anyone guide me through the steps, exactly what to do next in which order? Any help/feedback/info would be greatly appreciated. look forward to hearing from you, regards Julian
  3. Hi all, I just filled out the online application for Subclass 176...... I made the credit card payment and now there's a page that says that before I exit, I should upload the checklist of certified documents required and I don't have them scanned already. I assumed that I could come back later and do it... and am not sure with the kind of message flashing on the screen. Can someone please help me..... can I come back at a later stage and upload the documents???
  4. Haven't posted a lot for a while but A BIG THANKS to everyone who has supported us over the past two years! (Yes two years!) We were one of the August 2007 applicants who got stuck in the Capital Investment Fraud scandal in December 2007. Most of you 175/176's won't even know what we're talking about! Anyway, after being "on hold" since Dec 07, we finally got our visa -first last Wednesday (but a clerical error on the validation date took away any sense of excitement - leaving only panic) but now officially re-issued today with a November entry. We will be arriving exactly 1 year after we thought - we've lost thousands on our house and certainly won't be mortgage free - BUT we are ready for another adventure - (we come from a cross-cultural marriage and look forward to notching up another country on to the family tree!) Now - the fun starts....You would have thought with two years to sort everything out we would have (HAAA!) Bank holiday car boot - here we come!:jiggy: Liz, Andrew, Charis 12, Josiah 10 and Daniel 5
  5. Hi, I only applied for a GSW (subclass 475 (South Australia)) on 13 January. At first I panicked as I could not access the facility to attach documents online, but were told I could email them. I have spent this week scanning most of my documents and emailing them in batches (for example Marriage Certificate in one email, birth certificate in another, work references for each employer in separate emails, etc) making sure to indicate in the subject line what the email was about, such as "Applicant: Joe Blogs; Transaction Record Number: XXXXXXXX; Permission Request ID: 1111111111; Document: Marriage certificate" - I have noticed that my document check list statusses still say "Required" - but understand that this can take a while to change, so I now have some questions that I hope you guys that have been through the process can answer, before I can sit back and patiently wait :spinny: 1) I understand that the date by which I MIGHT have a CO to be somewhere in Feb (but also understand that this might be much later) - will he/ she then go through my emailled docs and attach them accordingly to my application (for example my bank statements and salary slips to my "Evidence of Specific Work Experience") - I.e. should I not expect a change of document status untill I have a CO? 2) I think I have made a slight mistake on my online application - my positive skills assesment is in "Computing Professional (not elsewhere class)", and I have applied in my online DIAC application under this occupation as my nominated occupation, I however made the error of not selecting all past employment positions as "Computing Professional (not elsewhere class)", but rather as "Computing Professionals (Applications and Analyst Programmer)" (Mar 2003 to May 2005), "IT Manager" (May 2005 to Oct 2007), and "Computing Professional (not elsewhere class)" (Nov 2007 to current) - all together these prove employment in my nominated occupation in the last 3 of 4 years, and the DIAC site states "you have been employed in your nominated occupation, or a closely related occupation listed on the SOL, for at least three (3) of the four (4) years immediately before you apply" - in hind site I should have listed all my past positions as "Computing Professional (not elsewhere class)". Does anyone think this is a problem, and if so will my future CO allow me to change the naming of my past positions all to the more general "Computing Professional (not elsewhere class)"?? 3) I do not plan to front load my medicals and police checks. Do I assume correctly that my future CO will ask for them as required? Will he/ she also state if all other provided documents must be suplimented with further documentation in case he feels the need be, or do they make a decision purely on what I have supplied by the time he is assigned my case. I know this is quite a mouth full, but hope you guys can lay my fears to rest, so that I can patiently wait for Mr/ Ms/ Mrs CO to come along  Etienne
  6. My state sponsorship decision letter (South Aus) states "FAX a copy of the full Notification document with the TRN number from DIAC together with a copy of this letter to Immigration SA on +61 8 8204 9244" - I do not have a "full notification document", but do have a payment confirmation which clearly states the Transaction Reference Number. Can anyone help - what to send??
