  3. Any of u guys.. got case office allocated-- but they (CO) hasnt started lookin in to you files yet... I mean ..something like this. Iam the CO for your client's VB 885 application , At this stage I have not had the opportunity to assess your client's application and am unable to provide you with a timeframe in which this will occur. please ensure that all evidence required to finalise your client's application when it is finally assessed such as medicals and polilce checks.
  4. Hey, She has lodged her application 2008 July 885 skilled migration which is now in group 5. She said she has been received email says that her applications in cat 3 and soon will be allocated to case officer. This is what she has been received. __________________ We have recently sent email letters to certain Priority Group 3 applicants who have lodged a General Skilled Migration (GSM) application under subclasses 175, 176, 475, 885, 886 and 487. As indicated above, these emails were sent only to applicants whose applications: a) are expected to be allocated to a case officer within three months of the date of these letters; and b) can proceed with health and character requirements without firstly being assessed by a case officer. If you have received this letter and have queries about these instructions, the following Questions and Answers may be of interest. Similarly, if you have not received this letter and your application is in Priority Group 3, these Questions and Answers will explain why and when you may expect to be contacted about your application. this is part of email she received. and she also paste the article from immigration website ... The Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, Chris Bowen, has set new priority processing arrangements for certain skilled migration visas. These arrangements will give effect to the minister's announcement on 10 May 2011 that regional visas will be given the highest processing priority. Priority processing refers to the order in which the department considers skilled migration applications. The minister is able to consider and finalise visa applications in an order of priority that the minister considers appropriate. The changes to priority processing do not change visa eligibility criteria. The new priority processing arrangements apply to the following visas: Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS) certain General Skilled Migration (GSM). -------------- what do you guys think? Is this some sort of error or do you think they finally starting processing old application in cat 5?
  5. Hii every one I just received an email from DIAC to proceed with my medicals for my 885 visa application as it states that i will be allocated a case officer within the next 3 months. I applied for my PR(885) on 1st march 2011. Is it pretty soon for my medicals or what ? Please comment in my case. Regards Pranav Rai Sood
  6. My cousin received an email from the Adelaide gsm team requesting form 80. Does this mean a case officer has been allocated? The main body of the email was just an automated message and no where was it mentioned that a case officer has been allocated. However, at the bottom of the attached 'Request For Info' PDF document the name of a case officer and the team number were mentioned. IF anyone who has been allocated a case officer could shed some light on this it would be great. We just don't want to get too excited yet until we know for sure that a case officer has been allocated. Thank you.

    CO allocated. 175 or 176?

Hi, just wondering if those who have a co or have gained their visa already had 175 or 176 on their application / visa? On the request for further information letter i have received it states a 175 visa although I received state sponsorship and sent off the form to change it to a 176.
  8. Hi All, I have been watching all the threads re allocating CO's over the past month and have had a thought...rare I know! Assuming all Cat 2 with occupations on SMP are allocated by June - fingers crossed for you all. I thought DIAC would then move full time to Cat 3 by date order .....but then I was thinking wont the States release another SMP and have another allocation for 2011/12 and those applicants will be in Cat 2 straight off and the Cat 3 will go in a holding bay again - possibly never getting to the top? Would love to hear your thoughts.... PS does anyone know how many people are in Cat 2 roughly? Thanks Jodie
  9. Hey, My online status as well as my recent inquiry to DIAC refers to the allocation of case officer in my 886 application- Priority category 3, on 16/08/2010 !! But havent got any updates since then ! Only the documents changed to RECEIVED!!! Anyone with same situation? I thought its gonna take 2 months max for decision after the allocation !!! 11. Hi all After moving in to Priority 2 I am hopeful of getting a CO soon I am a little confused on what happens after a CO takes over my file. What all documents would CO ask me to furnish? How much time does a CO take to finalize the visa? How would I know if i have a CO allocated? Do I have to furnish Medicals and PCC immediately or is that asked after employment verification? Can anyone who has got their visa granted already know the answers for the above :chatterbox:

  13. Hi guys, you`ve already helped me while ago. However, now me (Czech) and my wife (Aus) lodged application (801/820) on 28.june 2010. We still haven`t been allocated to case officer, despite the fact our application was flawless (made by immigration lawyer). I know that it takes time and that this is being discussed over and over again, but I still wonder, how long did it take for you to get case officer since lodging? Cheers

  16. Hi, Following the 23rd of Sept changes some o0f the CO allocated 176 cases that had the PC and medicals requested have been progressed and even granted in some cases. Does anybody know if they have moved onto those that hadn't had a CO allocated and police and medical checks requested? I have been trying to fathom the answer from the various timeline pages but I am making as much sense of them as I do the electricity bill!:goofy: If not has anybody been able to glean anything from the progess of the PC and med checks cases to establish how many more there are to go before they move onto the backog of the rest of the 176 applicaitons?

    Cae Officer allocated

We have been notified we now have a case officer as of yesterday! yipeee!!! We transferred from a 175 visa to a 176 visa, the form 1100 was sent from Queensland on the 9th April so it took less than 1 month for them to switch the visas and allocate us a case officer. I can see the light at the end of a very long tunnel. We have our medicals booked for the 21st May at Preston and we are sending off for our police checks tomorrow. We have 70 days to get the info to them. Roll on visa grant. This is proving to be a very emotional rollacoaster ride with all the changes that have been made from the start of 2009. I will be glad when we have the visa. Kim - The Bee Family xx
  23. Hi all, I am applying for a 475 visa and was supposed to be allocated a CO by this coming Friday. Well I was allocated one last Friday  They requested the following (my questions indicated like this): Employment duty statement - does anyone know what exactly is required here? Reference from my current employer Medical examination (1071i incl forms 160EH and 26EH) Police clearance certificates This all seems fair, but when I check my document checklist online, very few of all the other documents I have already emailed to then (such as my passport bio page have changed status to received, although the status against my wife's says received, although both was sent at the same time)?? A last question: request for information letter from the CO states that I have until 09 March to supply the information. This seems like an impossible date. Is it normal/ possible to extend this date? Any advise as always greatly appreciated!!
  24. Once the meds are done and hopefully all sucessful can they be sent pending a CO. Or, do i need to tell the Dr hold them on file until requested by the CO? regards Chris
