Hi Guys. My wife has applied a partner visa 309 on 28 June 2016. The application is in the final stages. Today she receive the email that your medicals are not valid after 1 year. Online immiaccount showing medical is clear for the processing of this visa. My query is that the visa processing has been delayed by the immigration deptt then why should one undergo the medical checkup again? Does it happen to anyone else who are waiting for decision for more than 12 months?

Hi everyone. Verity and I are now in the final stages ofour application with police checks and medicals completed an sent off. From our CO we have now received form 815 Health Undertaking She has been asked to sign it and send it back but we just wanted to know what it was all about. Reading through it, it states that upon arrival in oz we must contact the Health Undertaking Service within 7 days. Looking through the form it does seem to focus a lot on tuberculosis which verity does not have. It does mention "or other health conditions of concern"- welll verity has a prolactinoma (a small growth on her Pituitary gland)- so assume it could be for this? Although to us it is not a concern as all it essentially means is she has a hormone imbalance whereby her would body produce breast milk - even when not pregnant- but this is controlled by a weekly tablet. Has anyone else had this before? Thanks Ben

I received form 815 from my CO. I don't know the exact reason. Does anybody has the same experience?

Hi, We received a request for Health Undertaking (Form 815). We are applying outside Australia. I'm trying to fill it in, but it says "Contact details in Australia". I dont have any contact details in australia, I will go australia later after visa grant and then search place to live. What we should write in the form? -
I was granted permanent residence visa and I need to make an initial entry to Australia by before July 2010. Inorder to fulfill the initial entry date requirement, I would be traveling to Australia for a very short period (2 to 3 days) in mid of May 2010 and will return back to India. My question is, do I need to take the medical tests during my first visit (2 to 3 days) to OZ as I have signed 815 form or can I take the medical tests after moving permanently to OZ in Nov'2010.

Hi all, was expecting to get our visas this week but guess what No! Had an Email, got all excited but alas it was to fill in a Health Undertaking form as our daughter has had contact with TB. Although passed medical, negative chest xray, and heath test she now has to be put under surveillance once we enter Australia. We have to contact Health Authority everytime we leave country or move house. I am not saying this is a bad thing, I think this country can learn a lot by screening for TB, but just want to get visa!!!! Also says we have to validate by June 18th police checks and medicals were only done in November this seems really quick.:mad: Feeling really stressed now! Jo
