EOS - 189 VISA - Electronic Equipment Trade Worker
kleusken posted a topic in Working and Skilled Visas
Hey & All, I'm certainly not the first one to ask this question: Is there any chance to receive an invite before December 2018 with only 60 points in my nominated occupation "Electronic Equipment Trade Worker"? I'm currently waiting for my PTE results, and with a little bit of luck I may be able to claim another 10 points if I have reached 79+ in each band. My current 485 visa expires by the end of this year and I'm a bit worried. I'd appreciate your feedback Thanks My Points: 30 - Age 10 - PTE - English - Proficient 15 - Degree (Australian Bachelor) 5 - Two years study requirement -
Plasterer looking to begin process for 190 visa with 60 points
Ashleightaylor posted a topic in Working and Skilled Visas
Hi everyone! My partner and I are going to begin the process of submitting our expression of interest soon so I was just wondering if anyone on here has a similar situation/circumstances as us. My partner will be the main visa applicant as a solid plasterer (333212), with 60 points. We'll be applying for NSW state sponsorship also. Has anyone else recently been on the same path as us and been invited to apply? Curious to know what timescales other people have encountered. Thanks! -
Hello, I am new to the forum and not sure if this has been discussed before - if it has i apologise. I am currently gathering paperwork to submit an expression of interest for 189 visa, however I have been doing some research and am not sure the 60 points I have are enough to be offered a Visa. How do they decide who to invite to submit a Visa application? It is purely on points? or do they take into account occupation too? Thanks

Hi, anyone here who submitted EOI 60pts between May-June? have you got invites already?

Hi I have submitted EOI in mid of Aug 2014 with 60 points for ICT Business Analyst Can I expect an invitation soon? So far this year, the cut off for BA seems to be 60. Also, what is the meaning of meaning of 'Visa date of effect'; On Sep 8 round, it's given as April 2014 and points given as 60. Does it mean that all people with 60 points who applied befoer Apr 2014 have got invitation? Also, can I track my number in the queue Thanks in advance

NSW 190 visa, chances of invite for electrician with 60 points?
joe1966joe posted a topic in Visa Chat
Hi I have done my EOI and sent off the NSW state sponsorship form. Received an email from NSW saying that the have received the form and: We aim to process applications for NSW nomination within 12 weeks. Please note that this is only an estimate as the time frame can fluctuate depending on the volume of applications received. We are currently processing applications lodged on 3 October 2013. Am I still needing an invitation? or does this mean I am lodged? Thanks Joe- 4 replies

Hi everyone. I am new to the site and hoping to get a little advice regarding the EOI form. I am not using an agent and want to make sure that I do not over claim for points. I have just sat the carpentry technical interview with VU (still waiting to hear back) and will pick up 25 points for my age (37), 20 points for English, and 15 points for my degree. Although I have at least 8 years employment history in the last 10 I do not intend to claim for these as they were pre qualification. My question is this......can I claim points for family sponsorship by my partner's brother who is an Australian citizen. My partner will be included on the visa application along with our 2 boys. If so, is there a bond which would need to be paid?
