489 extended stay pathway visa FROM OFFSHORE

Hi guys, we are on 475 regional state sponsored visa. We already met the visa condition of 1 year work :biglaugh: and we need to live only 6 months to complete 2 years stay condition. Some months ago we had to go back to our country for family reasons and we cannot move again to OZ shortly. Our visa expires in Sept. 2015 and we would like to get an extension in order to have more time to arrange our next move. Our questions are: - can we apply from overseas for 1 year extension (489 visa extended stay pathway)? - If it is possible, do we have to wait for 489 to be granted before going to OZ ? Or can we continue using our 475 visa before its expiry date ? Thanks a lot in advance -
I separated a while ago and have divorced my wife now. I am here on a 475 visa my ex wife is the main applicant, I havent seen her for 7 months, I am going to court to see my son. I recieved a court paper response from her that my visa was cancelled last year August 2014 because I am now not a member of her family. Please can somebody advise me? a lawyer? I put my visa number into the vevo website it says my number doesnt match my current visa, what does this mean?? do I have a visa? I was told that if we separated I could stay here and apply for permanent residency. Thanks.

475's subsequent entrant visa-told to wait for another year!!! please help

Someone please tell if there is anything could be done in the case of GSM told my friend's wife to wait till the next program year to get the visa!!! My friend is on his 475 (Regional sponsorship) visa since 2011 and is now eligible to apply for PR. He has been waiting for his wife get her subsequent entrant visa to put his PR application. That's when he got this reply from DIAC. Is there a quota for subsequent entrant visa for partner? By the time she gets her visa my frined's 475 visa would be expired and he will be in the bridging visa for PR. In that case will his wife's visa application be void? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP :sad: -

I am living in Townsville on a 475 visa, and I would like to do a Tafe Oten Course online, they are based in Sydney, would doing an online Tafe course be classed as studying in a Regional area for my Visa? Cant seem to find any information on this, hope someone can help, thank you, James -
Hi all, I'm a Malaysian female heading over to WA mid April'13 on a 475 Provisional RSS visa. According to my visa, I will have to live and work in Perth's outer regions to which I have chosen Peel, South West and Great Southern :err:. I will be going alone so I plan to land in Perth for a couple of weeks to familiarise myself, apply for jobs and plan on where to stay - a shared acommodation somewhere in the Southern Region, so that it would be easier and faster to get to job interviews. I don't enjoy clubbing or hard partying. What would be ideal are areas that are easier to find shared accommodation, convenient to a good methodist church, dance classes and a park to roller skate. Any recommendations on which areas I should check out or any suggestions on making the transition would be much appreciated. Thanks.
