EOI - Accountant (General) 22111 - 189 Visa - 60 points - Chances of being invited?

Hey Guys, I'm helping a friend with her visa application. She has 2 options. 189 Independent (60 points) or 489 Sponsored by her sister who has citizenship (70 points) Personally i'm not a big fan of the 489 as it is not permanent and last for 4 years and have some restrictions where she can work, etc.. Anyone out there who had 60 points and how long did it take you guys to get an invite once you submitted an EOI for 189? She's running out of time as her current visa will expire soon. Any help is much appreciated. -
Dear All, I have received an invitation for 65 points EoI but I am thinking that probably my work experience as 20 hours won't count towards the total experience. Anyway, I have already lodged the 2nd EoI at 60 points back in February, and I have seen invitation were sent with 60 points EoIs lodged in October 2013 for Electronics Engineer, with 1 year experience as an Electronics Engineer, for the same profession I was sponsored under 457 visa. My question is whether I will be invited again on the basis of 60 points I have claimed if I not choose to apply for PR for 65 points EoI invitation? Your answers will greatly help us. Thanks.

I haven't found any thread for 189 who applied in OCT 2013, so I thought to start one. My agent submitted the application on 02nd OCT 2013 and so far no update. Did anyone submit on Oct 2013 and got CO assigned? :mad: I was reading around and I found that some applications are processed within 2 months and some are processed in 5 or 6 months. So any idea about some timelines? -
Hi All, My ACS assessment has been completed on May 2011. At that time of assessment i have experience of 6.8 years, now i have 8.5 years of experience and i didn't change any JOB/ Role. To claim 8 years of experience in EOI do i need to reassess my experience with ACS ? Response to this query is highly appreciated. PS: I got EOI approval by claiming 8 years experience but my assessment report says 6.8 since its 1.5 year old. Thanks in advance...
