Hear is the reply i got from the BBC after i complained about the new series of wanted down under they avent a clue read on folks Dear Mr ? Thanks for your e-mail regarding 'Wanted Down Under'. I understand that you feel the third series of this programme has shown a decline in quality and you feel that the information being given out is misleading to the point of influencing people not to migrate. I can assure you that this definitely isn't the intention of the programme and that the team are still trying to accurately reflect the prospect, preparation and decision making of emigrating. Inevitably, the experiences of those in the programme won't be the same as those watching at home as issues like this are unlikely to the same across the board but we do try and offer as broad a range of examples and experiences as possible. I appreciate that this issue is of much importance to you as someone who is involved in the emigration process and I have registered your concerns on our audience log. This is a daily report of audience feedback that's circulated to many BBC staff, including members of the BBC Executive Board, channel controllers and other senior managers. We're committed to developing better links with you, our audience, to further enhance our understanding of your viewing needs and the audience logs are seen as important documents that can help shape decisions about future programming and content. Finally, I've attached an invitation from the Head of Audience Services asking you to participate in our survey. We would welcome your views on the service you have received. Thanks once again for taking the time to contact the BBC. Regards BBC Complaints __________________________________________

A much better show I thought, it actually touched on some reality in the middle somewhere (visa application etc) though still rehashed the original family video bit the second family bit touched home more because it was actualy for real. Glad the Whelans made it, they all looked happy.

I'm posting this for my daughter Candi. We're moving to Aus in April next year and her boyfriend wants to join us out there. He's currently at university doing a degree in sport and aims to become either a sports teacher or a sports coach. He will finish his degree in May. How easy will it be for him to get a visa? And what sort of occupation should he be looking at if he wants to move out to Aus. I'm not sure what else to say but if anyone could offer some insight then that would be great. Thanks, Clairbear. xx

Hi, My name is Lara and I work for the BBC. I am currently researching for a series called 'Wanted Down Under', which is broadcast on BBC1. I just thought I would write a thread to see if anyone was interested in getting involved. I am looking for some quite specific groups of people to have a chat to about their move to Adelaide, Australia. I am looking for Welsh families that have come here to start a new life. I am also looking for a British self-employed wall and floor tiler that has started their own business here in Adelaide. I would love to hear from anyone from these areas or who might know of someone as I have described. With thanks and hope to hear from you soon, Lara Bickerton Adelaide Fixer BBC - Wanted Down Under

Hi all, I am looking to emigrate to Aus, but first need to finish my degree, and then do my PGCE and become a teacher. At the moment, I am working on a project for University and could do with some help and info really if you could spare me the time. I am looking at the differences in UK and Oz schools, and how you, or your children find them. Would also be interested in your stories about how migrant teachers affect the children, classrooms etc. I would be very grateful for anyone who has some stories, or info that they could pass on that they feel would help me out!! I would be EXTREMELY grateful. If you think of any other avenues that I could explore for this project..they are also gratefully received. I look forward to hearing good and bad points about this. Thanks again Donna

Hi there I'm a swede emigrating to Perth, Australia with my family hopefully during 2010; we've recently succeeded in gaining permanent residency in Australia. Thus I’m looking for a job within the Supply Chain industry in Perth. I am a very experienced Supply Chain expert/Strategic Purchaser/Project Manager with more than 10 years experience under my belt, having worked for 3 global organisations during this period. Qualification wise, I have got a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, specialising in Logistics and Industrial Economics. Does anyone have any tips as to who I could contact in Perth re suitable employment? I have already been in contact with 11 agencies trying to set up interviews during my visit in April. . Thanking you Regards Pontus:idea:
