  3. My name is Chelsea, I am living in Melbourne (mulgrave) and I am looking for full time work! I am a fully qualified Beautician with NVQ Level 2 and a NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy plus many other qualifications. I have previously worked for Laura Ashley in the UK and have gained a lot of experience working in sales from there. They are very strict on customer service so i believe i am strong in that field. Any help with current vacancies suitable for me would be greatly appreciated or if you are an employer please get in touch!!! I am here on a Working Holiday Visa so can only stay with an employer for 6 months, but might apply for Partner Visa eventually as my boyfriend has permanent residency and can apply for citizenship later this year (if that helps!!) TIA!

  8. Two teams .......with one goal..........to put an end to this North / South divide....... I have a proposal and that is we build two teams ,simlpy called SOR(blue) & NOR (red),its serious but at the same time friendly and fun,4 matches per yr, 2 SOR, 2 NOR....(subject to change)......Venues TBA......first game will be a trial ,maybe a couple of beers after the match ect ...... there will be NO violence no HARD tackling, contact yes but we all need to be able to work the day after, otherwise i may as well organize a boxing match !Any violence /fighting and that player/players will be kicked out and disgraced...:policeman: A referee would be good , probs someone who likes football but not up to it and still wants to be involved ect ...? Age...? Im a veteran,do we need 20 yr old whipper snippers ...? i think most on here are 30 + ..... You dont have to be a professional ect , its just a game ......... between 35/45 mins per half depending on number of players and the weather .. Matches to be played on a Sunday ,time TBA... Fly subs ,so we can all have a break if needed Keeper can be changed at any time ,as long as the referee has been informed first...!!! I will manage SOR for now ,NOR will need to sort your own out , SOR kick abouts ect will be arranged prior to matches so we can get familiar with each other ...... If your up for this get in touch on the thread ,im sure we all have a mate or two who would be interested if the forum cant get enough , i know i can if needed for SOR and probs one or two for NOR .............. This can work as ive done it before in the uk , two rival groups in my local use to play each other after a Sunday session in the local and that proved to be so popular that we formed an official Sunday league, was better than playing in the Wythenshawe league as nobody was out to break your legs ect ........ Feel free if you would like to add to this chaps....... Please dont turn this into a slanging thread its for football only .......

  14. Can anyone help or have a suggestion? My dog is in boarding kennels in the UK where he has been for a year. I brought over my other dog and cat but poor Casper failed the Ehrlichia test and had to stay behind. I couldn't bear to have him put to sleep! Obviously its costing an absolute fortune to keep him there, the kennels are very nice and the owner is lovely, but obviously now that the UK has been downgraded for rabies, he will have to go through the whole process of injection/blood test and then the quarantine period. I would have sent for him sooner after a retest (assuming the Ehrlichia test was negative of course!), but then I was diagnosed with Stage 1 cancer and had to have a hysterectromy, which meant I couldn't work for a while. I am well now, and go back to work on Monday. I was just wondering if anyone knows of someone who could offer Casper a temporary home whilst he is undergoing the 5 month quarantine period after he has had the rabies jab and blood test. Obviously I would pay for his food and any vets fees that would be required. Family can't (won't) help out and can't understand why I spend so much money on my pets, they are just suggesting I have him put to sleep and say "you're mad!!". Well, that's their opinion, and my brother lives on a farm so plenty of room for a small dog!!! But won't take him. He is a small mixed breed terrier, 10 years old, but fit and healthy, lovely natured, playful but isn't really used to children. He's good with other small dogs, and loves lots of cuddles (which he hasn't had for quite some time - poor thing!) If there is anyone out there who could take him in for 5 months or knows of someone who could - or has any suggestions please pm me.

    Wanted Down Under

Does anyone know why there haven't been any episodes of families spending their week in Perth on the show? Wonder if it means not many people want to go to the other states which is why they are focusing on them more. I'm dying to see one of them in Perth. I remember seeing one last year of a lovely young family who ended up moving Down under and doing really really well. Oh well hopefully tomorrow will be the one

    Advice Wanted

Hi Everyone I am a 23 year old English Economics graduate who spent a year working down under having completed uni in 2009. I want to move back permanently. However I believe my work experience is what would be holding me back, I believe. I have worked as a trainee accountant for over 13 months, studying the CIMA qualification. Do I have to wait until fully qualified (probably another 2-3 years) before I could possibly be eligible? I have an Aunt and Uncle in Aus who say they would sponsor me but I don't think that's enough without the sufficient experience. I basically would like to move out ASAP. Advice appreciated. Nick
