  1. WA Health Board Recruitment :wideeyed: HAve any MH nurses or MH nearly nurses applied to the ad for the Western Australia Health board? It was in the nursing times about two weeks ago? I ask because I applied 10 days ago and haven't heard anything yet! I am due to qualify in March/April 09 and ad stated recruiting both graduate and experience nurses. Many, many thanks
  2. Hello all Does anyone have contacts of recruiters/headhunters they dealt with in Sydney and felt they were particularly pro active or responsive ? I've started to look for work and it would really help me if anyone was willing to share contact details for people they deal with or recommend rather than me just cold calling. My concern is not that I won't get a job because I know eventually I will but it's more about all the roles that go unadvertised and at the moment I can't tap into. My TRA was passed by the Australian Institute of Management as a General Manager. I'm looking for an operational / commercial manager position. Thanks in advance for your help. Sunsh1ne

  6. Hello! I hope you are all well. Please can anyone give me the names of good job sites / recruitment agencies in Brisbane. I am looking for work in CBD when I arrive on 17th Sept.:spinny: I have looked on SEEK.AC Thank you. Helena Adams
  7. Hi all, I am moving to Melbourne on 10th August with my family, and I am going on a Spouse visa (lucky me!!). I have emailed my CV to several recuritment companies, and followed this up with phone calls but seem to be getting nowhere. I feel like pulling my hair out, and I don't have a lot left!!! I am not on the wanted skills list, having worked in Insurance for the past 20 years, but it seems to me that Recruitment Companies do not to take anyone as a serious candidate until they meet them face to face (this is the same here too, I know!). The last thing I want to do when I arrive is spend a week meeting with these people, another week waiting for them to do anything, and another few weeks waiting for interviews! Does anyone know of, or have used, or could recommend a Recruitment Company based in or around Melbourne that will take me seriously. I really am moving to Melbourne and really am looking for work! It just seems hard to convince these people of this fact!! Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated. Dean :arghh:

  12. Can anyone recommend any recruitment agencies in & around the Wollongong & Moss Vale areas that deal with accountancy/bookkeeper type roles please? Or the names of the local newspapers - or is there a site like fish4jobs that lists all jobs advertised in local papers? I've tried looking on the White Pages site but it seems like you need to know the exact company name & I've looked at Seek - not sure if this is like Monster though which I wouldn't use. We're coming for a weeks recce & for my OH to sign his contract etc & I wanted to get my CV out to as many people as possible. Many thanks Rach & Bernie (& Henry & Charlie)

If they are good as their word, this looks like a great way to line-up a flying start in Australia by securing a good job and/or employer sponsorship.

  17. Just thought I could point a few people towards this recruitment agency which does a lot of Civil Servant type jobs. For some it is a requirement that the applicant be an Australian Citizen, but by no means all. www.hoban.com.au click on hot links and go from there! Good luck!
