Fingers crossed she is OK, maybe in the pound (at Austral I think which is a long way from Picnic Point) or in a 'friendly' household. He's got two dogs and one was handed in at the vets. The wind blew the gate open. My brother sounded angry but I think that just masked the worry. My niece's birthday too.

Hi everyone, Thank you all for coming to the Kingo in civic, I am however arranging a new meeting at Tidbinbilla. Tidbinbilla is a nature reserve in the east of the ACT. There are a number of BBQ spots and a playground for the small people. Last time I had a BBQ there I had a Kangaroo hop by me, awesome treat for my friend who flew from the UK to visit me. Anyway, to get into the reserve it costs $10 for the day or $30 for the year. This is for a car of up to 8 people. I would recommend a 1 year pass as you'll use it!! Anyway, we'll meet up at 12.00 noon again, I'll try and get their earlier and take my England flag with me so that you know we are the POMS. I will also take my radio if there happen to be a rugby game on. Lastly, it's a long weekend, so no worrying about work the next day, get in!!! See you there Nik

Hi All, Just saw an ad in the Welsh Melbourne Website - Plaid Cymru picnic in Fitzroy Melbourne for all us Welshies out there who can't find others and want to get together to talk rugby etc!!! Don't need to be a Plaid member to go along. It's at Edinburgh Gardens, Fitzroy North (St George's side). Meet at Bandstand at Noon on 17th January 2010. Bring a picnic, rugs, chairs. $5 adults, kids free. Me and my family - (husband and 3 kids) will deffo go along as husband missing Welsh rugby talk and the welsh banter and humour, and kids missing the accent!! See all you fellow Welshies there - hopefully!! Lyn.

We are having a Britvics / Poms in Oz meet up at Mornington park on Saturday 24th October. Whether you have been before or its your first time why not come along & meet others in same boat. Bring food for yourself & whatever you drink, beers wine etc & make sure plenty of water for the kids to drink if its a warm day. Last year we had between 40 & 50 families turn up at the Mornington meet so put it in your diary.

Hi Guys, have been handed a very pretty and colourful copy of Michael's new work rota so I can see which are his weekends off. With this thread I am posting a poll to see which dates you guys think are best for having our Poms in Oz picnic. Please post on it and then I can start arranging finer details. I know it's still a bit early in advance but that way we won't double book ourselves will we!!!! Felicity:wubclub:
