Hi All Just need to let of steam, the couple who were buying our house, have pulled out tonight, ( have been messing us around for the last couple of months one min there buying it then next there not then they are) we reduced the price by £50,000 BUT they wanted more off, we are unable to reduce it anymore. So it looks like we are coming over in July to validate our visa's. Just need to find the cheapest way of getting there, with accommodation for family of 4 (3A 1C). Well looking on the bright side, you never know the house prices might start to go up and the $ might go up as well. Sorry for going on. Paula Ps any one want to buy a house

Hi just wanted to say anybody thinking of using crown good luck to you all, i have called four times waiting for a mark to call me back, the fouth time i called i did get him, he tried to parm me off to someone else, after i was given his name twice, so i wont be using them, cant belive it, we was sorted was settle on pickfords, more fun now looking for quote, dose this move get anymore stressed, since we started this visa last febuary 2007, i must of aged about ten years, not forgetting how much weight ive put on, anyway good luck with crown shazxxx

skills theory done & passed, pratical done & passed, application filled out, checked, I's dotted, T's crossed, all documents certified, cheque arrived for fees today, all checked and double checked... Fedex booked for tomorrow between 12/3pm... why do I feel sick, excited but sick.:biggrin:

Ang Really sorry I couldn't get round to say my final goodbyes (well I suppose we did at the BBQ on Saturday, but you know what I mean) it's been chaotic today, only just got home and haven't even spent anytime with Robs family who arrived from the UK yesterday. Hy everyone, Well after 18 months we are finally going for the medicals tomorrow ( Monday ) in Manchester, it's been a long slog to this point and thanks to everyone on here with the encouragement, especially to CalNGary....cheers. Wish us all luck please and i do hope he warms his hands before the Cough and Drop part...................lol

Hi All Just wanted to wish all of the people doing their Vetassess practical assessments over the next couple of weeks good luck and hope you all get a positive result. My hubby is doing his (Carpenter) tomorrow and really looking forward to completing this part of the journey. Im sure everyone would agree what a great support PIO as been so far and will be for the coming stresses/joys. Looking forward to everyone posting their passes, when they come through. Got a phone call today... we have a viewing... I had almost given up all hope of any body coming to view our house in the current "credit crunch" anyway they wanted to come today... no way!!!! got things to do to get ship shape. you all know what i mean don't you ladies???? my oh doesn't understand me when i want things just right... so.. been gardening since i got home from work...and got 2 days to get SORTED they are coming Wed evening,.. nothing to sell she is in rented.. Good luck to Ian, Nina and little George, They flew to Perth yesterday to activate their visa,( beat me to it by 11 weeks GIT) Unfourtunately they are in same boat as a lot of us waiting for their house to sell. I think it's all a big conspiracy between the airlines to make us all pay for extra flights to activate visas!!! lol.

I am sure all the peeps on here would like to join me in congratualting Jo n Paul on settling on their 1st home here in Australia! They have done alot for us and several others on this site and it's good to see things working out so well for such a lovely family! We will miss having you across the road, but look forward to welcoming Chell, Gav and the kids tomorrow! All the best, glad your not going far! Anyhow, best get myself sorted to lend a hand!!

Me and my family just want to wish all the very best to ViknMark, (who have been on this site for some time now). They are off to Canberra tomorrow with their son Rhys to start a new journey in their life. We have become very good friends through PIO and look forward to the day when we are also in Oz and can meet up with them again.
