Perth Cars - Buy or Lease?

Anyone, know of decent companies that do decent long term car lease or is it better to buy? I'm reluctant to buy due to the temporary nature of a 457 visa and down the fact I don't want to buy until I know for absolutely certain we all want to stay in Australia. Advice grately received.

  7. I'm seriously considering breaking my lease as i want somewhere with a garden/driveway to store boat, motorbike etc. Has anyone on here broken a lease before or know what the usual routine is?
  8. Hi, We have made the decision to go home, somewhat more quickly than originally expected, and as a result we have lots of stuff to get rid of as quickly as possible. We are aiming to get back before Christmas, although with every day passing that looks increasingly less likely. So many bargains on offer!:twitcy: We need to break the lease on the house- 3 bed on Kawana Island, currently $370 p/w, we are prepared to drop this to $340 p/w and pay the remainder ourselves to the owner in order to get it rented out asap! Have a look at Raine & Horne Kawana Waters website for details. But we can't really get rid of the house until we sell the furniture- a complete package from super Amart, only 1 month old, as new condition. It includes 3 seater & 2 seater sofas, 7 piece dining, entertainment unit, buffet/sideboard, coffee table, lamp table. Will seperate if necessary but better value if bought as package. It's advertised on trading post, which can be accessed online. Bought for $2799, will sell for $1950 for quick sale. Also a Samsung fridge Freezer, cost $780, will sell for $600, and a whirlpool front loading (english style!) washing machine, cost $660, will sell for $400, both 1 month old. Could be persuaded to sell the 37" LCD HD TV for $1000, otherwise we will be shipping that one back with us. We also have a queen sized bed (cost $370) 'sorrento' design and very comfy mattress (cost $400), again 1 month old, will sell both together for $450. And the car. It was bought at beginning of sept. It's a Holden (aka Vauxhall) Viva wagon- look it up on web. We paid $20,000 on the road. It's done 7000 kms, has had it's first service and it in excellent condition, as new. We are prepared to accept $17,000 for a quick sale- it's less than 3 months old! We also have a bunch of kitchen stuff etc if anyone is interested otherwise we will ship some back to UK. Please email me if you are interested in any of above: lbradley@fsmail.net or call on 0406 966361.

Anyone coming to end of lease?

Hi this is a long shot but we are open to any area and wondered if anyone is leaving a property shortly and can you tell me as we are finding it hard to get a rental. Its only hard as we would very much like a pool along with everyone else i suppose! We are wanting 4 beds and something modern (hopefully with a bit of a garden too as we have a dog). It would be great to hear of anything. Any help appreciated. Georgie
  10. Hi If anyone wants a modern house with a pool in Narangba's Creekside then ring Ideal real estate in Burpengary. Hurry as its not on the internet yet. 38881249 is the number to ring. If you have a dog then he is a bit dubious about having one inside so if i were you i wouldnt even mention a dog. You can always say you are dog sitting or something and the owner wont be in Brisbane as he is moving to Mackay. Its on for $500 per week and its got 4 or 5 beds (cant remember for sure) It is next to shops and schools and is a nice area. 10 mins to Bruce Highway. Hope it helps someone Georgie
  11. Just wondered if anybody had been through breaking a lease early. We are leaving a tenancy before the end of the lease and have been told we will be responsible for the rent up to them finding a new tenant. We unfortunately signed up for 12 months and will have 6 months left on it when we return to UK. Obviously I am a little concerned if they do not find another tenant quickly leaving us to pay the rent for possibly 6 months!! The property we are in is really nice but there does seem to be other properties in the area that are not renting out and which are cheaper than ours. Anyone got any information or any advice which would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  12. My step son and friend are looking for rental anywhere between Joondalup and in around the city for 2 to 3 months if anyone knows of anywhere then please let us know. Many thanks, Kind regards, Marina.

We sent some info off to a couple of agents (with me named) and the reply i got from one was "you have no chance unless you get a job sponsor !!"
