    Breaking rental lease to go home

    Hi does antone know anthing bout breaking your rental lease to go home?? I know we will lose our deposit. We have another 5 months left on our lease and dont think we can stay that length of time. we would love to leave ASAP. Its all the legal documents you have to sign to say you cant leave before the end of the lease or you are liable for the cost of further rent and advertising fee's. If you just went home and posted the keys to them, can they do anything??:confused:

  10. Hi, We are seriously thinking about breaking our lease on our house in Morphett Vale due to the owners now refusing to let us have our dog here.   11. Hi All Our new house build is ready earlier than expected, so we are breaking lease on our rental. It is a massive open plan 4 x 2 on a quiet street with a theatre room, games and study. There is split reverse air con and the bedrooms are all big. The house is less than a year old. The rent is $410 per week and pets are negotiable. It is available from 15th December.     Lease Information for defacto

    Hi All, So weve been gathering information for the defacto visa and will be putting the application in, in January. A friend told me yesterday the lease copy could be a problem. My partner and I live in a shared house so there are other peoples names on the lease - will this cause a problem? We have lots of bills, photos and have just opened a shared bank account, just a bit scared this might cause problems. Thanks, D

  15. hi guys.. just want to let you know that we have had to break our lease therefore there is a rental property available in Murrumba Downs (about 5 mins drive from north lakes), it can be a short term lease or long one, depending on what you are after. from what i can understand, if anyone needs a short term lease, the property manager can arrange some furniture for you but as to what that includes im not 100% sure. the house itself is lovely, 3 bedroom with kids retreat, 2 living areas, inground pool and fantastic area in an elevated position with lovely views of the area. the only reason why we are leaving is because we have bought our own house and are desperate for someone to take over the lease..oh, and also the house is situated a short walk from the pine river where there is always people fishing, skiing etc, great for walks with the kids and the local supermarket is also within walking distance. if anyone is interested, please contact me and i will be happy to help. thanks.

  17. We have just bought a house but have until 17 Jan 2010 left on the lease so need to get it re let asap. It is on a quiet road in Donvale, close to buses, trains & Eastlink. 3 Bedrooms, 2 living areas, kitchen, bathroom, laundry & a walk in pantry that I use as a study. It has a good size garden, fully fenced at the back & child friendly, parking for 2 - 3 cars with a single car port. We will be moving out on 4 September (ish) & the house will be unfurnished.     Breaking a rental lease?

    Hello, I am looking to move out of my current accommodation by the end of Aug. I have been in this property for 14 months never missed a payment and generally have a good relationship with my landlord however, I believe the contact is for the beg of Jan. I say believe because After signing up for an initial 12 months I have never signed anything else however, I’m not sure if rentals are in 6 months period. Can I walk away after giving 4 weeks notice and not face any penalties? Any advice would be very welcomed! Cheers
  19. Hi we are moving out of our rental the end of july as we have finally bought a house after two years of being in oz!!!!!!!!!! Our rental is a beautiful new four bedroomed double storey in the popular park lake/ maudsland estate on the Gold Coast, five minutes from the motorways and close to the new park lake state school . It has great views across the hinterland and is in a nice close . Park lake is just next to Pacific pines north Gold Coast. We have a dog so they accept pets and we got the property over the internet without viewing !! It is $430 a week rent and well worth a look if you are thinking of this area. we really love it here in park lake and have bought our house here as you have the best of both worlds, close to shops etc and beautiful views. if anyone is interested pm me first and i will give you further details about the property and the Real estate number. cheers julie

    Breaking lease in Redcliffe

    A family whom I helped out last September, need to break their lease, due to family size, with more in the family. Basically they are about 100 metres from Redcliffe leagues club,, they have a 4 bedroom high set, with a large closed area under for a recreation room. Lovely in ground pool and bbq area with a covered area. They pay $350 per week. They are moving next week regardless, so it will be vacant then. Anyone interested contact me and I will give you their contact name and number. Be great for anyone for a few months until they find exactly what they want in housing. Their lease expires end of August, but would be renewed.
  21. I live in a rental, with one other person. I was wondering, will I be required to send in a copy of the lease agreement? I was thinking about coming off the lease, so that when my fiance arrives, we can get a house together, without waiting for my year lease to expire. But if they require a lease, I guess I should stay on it? Any help would be appreciated.

    Car lease plan?

    As im sure some are aware here in U.K you can get a car lease plan where you per month for a car and hand it back in 3 years and get a new one. Obviously you dont own the car but it has extra benefits like running costs and maintenance etc. My question is does anyone know if this happens in Oz at all? We are just researching as we are leaving in 9 weeks!! many thanks in advance al

  25. Hubs has a private car lease which isnt due to expire in 12 months time. The company say its non transferable so we are stuck with it. Our options (as far as they will tell us) is to buy the car (17k) and sell it (worth 13k) or pay a one off termination payment of 7k. We really done want to do this but it seems like we have no choice!!! Has anyone else come across this? Any ideas? We need some HELP!!! Emma x
