In Ireland need help with Oz police check, post reply coupons don't exist!
Guest posted a topic in Visa Chat
hi there I am a Brit living in Ireland with ozzie husband and am applying for a spouse visa. I need a police check for Australia and went to the post office today to get an 'International Postal Reply Coupon' and they do not exist here! Does anyone know what I should do as it states that you need to send one for them to send you back your police clearance cert. Has anyone been in the same boat? What to do? thanks lally -
Hi there has anyone done this and if so any ballpark quotes for how much it costs? I am looking to ship personal stuff - maybe x10 1m by 1m boxes. No furniture. I really have no idea as the shipping company i called needed to know how much stuff i would be shipping in order to quote me but i won't know how much stuff I can ship until i know roughly how much it costs. I need to know before I go and sell the sea kyak, telescope, cello, bongos etc! Should I sell everything and rebuy or ship...oh what to do! Any good company suggestions happily received x

Just to introduce myself - Originally from Wales, I migrated to Australia in 1985. I worked for the Department of Immigration in Perth from 1986 to 1996 before registering as a Migration Agent in January 1996. I came to live in Ireland in 2001 (my wife is from Ireland originally). My motivation for joining this Forum is purely to keep myself up-to-date with the ever-changing Migration Regulations and Policy and the fact that I enjoy solving problems or perceived problems. G'day folks, I left Nth Ireland 40 years ago and that was under the 10 Pound Assisted Passage Scheme. Australia is my home, and the home of our children and grand children. My wife and I have been back to Ireland for a holiday and we also toured England and Scotland, we enjoyed it immensely, but it was a holiday and it was good to return home to The Lucky Country. I will browse through the Forum and if I can help with any questions, then I will. Cheers.
