  1. Last month the national university of Lesotho scientists, released the results of a recent analysis, that revealed the presence of female hormones in beer. Men should take a concerned look at their beer consumption. The theory is that beer contains female hormones { hops contain phytoestrogens ** and that by drinking enough beer, men turn into woman. To test this theory, 100 men drank 8 pints of beer each within a 1 hour period. It was then observed that 100% of the test subjects : 1** Argued over nothing. 2** Refused to apologize when obviously wrong. 3) Gained weight. 4** Talked excessively without making sense. 5** Became overly emotional. 6** couldn't drive. 7** Failed to think rationally. 8** Had to sit down while urinating. NO FURTHER TESTING WAS CONSIDERED NECESSARY. :biglaugh::biglaugh: CHEERS DAVE
  2. Hi, i'm 29 and single pom. I moved to Melbourne in June 2007 and while i really like Melbourne and have met a few good friends here, i am thinking with the weather and beach here etc, i may well really be at home. I love the beach lifestyle and the sunshine and was thinking about packing up and moving on to the queensland or the gold coast. But a bit worried about moving on my own, if there will be enough going on and how easy it will be to meet people etc. I have travelled australia and i remember townsville being quite nice, also noosa and portland just after some advise really if anyone out there has moved out there on their own and how easy/difficult they found settling in. Any advice welcome. thanks kim
  3. Hello, I'm a writer for the British magazine RED and I'm looking for a lady aged 35-45 who has sold her house in the UK to come and live in Australia. The piece is about 'money saving tips' and so I'm hoping that the case study will say that by selling her house, she's saved X amount because it's so much cheaper living in Australia. If you can help me - or you know someone who might fit the bill - I'd be very grateful if you could email me on jill@jillfoster.co.uk with your thoughts. Many thanks in anticipation Jill
  4. Hi there, Can anyone recommend a good female doctor for the medicals? I have heard that some people have to strip down to their knickers and have a breast exam, and if I have to do that I would feel a lot better if the doctor was a lady!! So if you can recommend a good lady doctor in the SE for the medical, I would be most grateful (hopefully then I wont stress as much)! :chatterbox: Many thanks! Hayley
