Hi all, Just found out that the dogs have arrived safely in Sydney quarantine station, they are sharing a kennel and the kennel maid said lucy was a bit matted up and tired , but otherwise both were ok. We will check again in a few days once the vet has seen them.....We can't believe after all of the goings on they are finally there...Just me and the kids now then all can be reunited....can't wait Yvonne :spinny:

Hi Everyone just got my visas through for me and my wife Elle. We're moving to melbourne. However she insists our dogs come too. 2 border collie bitches. Watched the program 'Wanted Down Under' this morning and it was suggested that it cost on average approx £3000.00 per dog .Surely this can't be correct. Please,Please could somebody put our minds at rest on this issue. Otherwise I might be coming over alone.

Hi all, Anyone out there renting with dogs?? We have heard it is hard to rent as it is without having dogs in tow. I have enquired at a few agents but none have come back. We are going in July to Nambour and starting to get a little worried as to where we are going to live!!! YVONNE

Hi, we'd be probably renting for the 1st 6 months or so and plan to bring one dog with us. Does anyone know or been involved with anywhere where rentals and dogs go together? The dog is a short haired variety, unlike the wife, who I'll make sure cleans her mess up after herself. :biglaugh:

Hi there, Just a wee query about taking our dog over. Is there anyone who is planning to take theirs or who already has? I've found info about quaranteen (?) etc.. but was wondering about costs of flying them over? I really want to bring her as she's part of the family. Thanks. Ang.:wubclub:

Apart from the fact they lick their own bottoms, the dogs are better-looking, better-mannered and more intelligent than the kids! A fine example of nature over nurture. LC. Don't get me wrong; I love both. Except when my son suggests my cooking is, and I quote, $hi!. Contrary to appearance, I do not swear in general life. I am an unassuming old cow.
