  1. @Rob Frain in regards to the photos. I also have a 4 and 2 year old. Immigration agent told me to get an app, which I did called ‘photo aid’ took a few attempts, screen shotted the result (didn’t pay) and cropped it. sent it to my email and uploaded that way. When you use their software to reposition it, we had to zoom in quite a lot for our 2 year old, his head is practically the whole oval space. it eventually worked! good luck.
  2. Were you in Spain for longer then 12 months? That's annoying they aren't getting back to you, I wish you luck. We were planning to do it ourselves initially but decided to get help with the final application, which I'm glad I did as I had misunderstood a question and would have been refused with my answer... All good atm and almost completed it, just waiting for final checks to be done by the agent... It's a hefty application isn't it!

    Pte question.

Above 79 for each module to acquire superior English. so 79 and above in speaking, writing, listening and reading. even if you score a 78 in one module but 90 on the other 3, you will be categorised as proficient English. Annoyingly this happened to me. good luck
  4. Hi, once visa application is completed and submitted, will I then be contacted for relevant document evidence such as employment, proof of ID, and undertaking medicals & police checks? There isn’t an option on my immi account to upload any evidence yet… does that come after submitting the form?
  5. Can I ask, are you completing your visa application/journey yourself or doing it through an immigration agent?
  6. Spoke to immigration consultant… they said as long as I’m not claiming points for his occupation (which I’m not) it’s fine…. Phew!
  7. Oh I see… I didn’t see the ‘home duties’ option. I just presumed I had to select his job with selecting yes… I have stated the same thing on the EOI and selected no skills assessment so hoping that’s going to be fine..
  8. Awesome congratulations to you too! quick question, not sure if you can help. The question ‘are you including your spouse/partner on the visa’ I selected yes. It then asked for his occupation to which I selected engineering manager from the drop down list which I also stated on the EOI on skill select. He doesn’t have a skills assessment though and stated this on the EOI therefore, I haven’t claimed any points for him… Was this the right answer to put? I’m hoping I’ve not answered wrong and they were asking if he’s part of the nomination?
  9. Hi, wondering if someone can answer a question. I’ve been contacted and selected to apply for 190 from Victoria’s ROI. One of the questions was ‘Am I including my spouse on the nomination visa’ to which I answered yes… it then asked for his job which I selected engineering manager from the drop down list. On the skill select EOI, I also stated the same thing for my partner and answered no to the question does he have a positive skills assessment (because he doesn’t). Therefore, I haven’t claimed any points for his occupation but I’m confused by the question on the ROI from Victoria. I don’t want it to appear that I’ve claimed for his occupation when I haven’t but did want him included on the application as he’s my husband… was that the right thing to do? TIA Waiting for immigration consultation but it’s taking a while.. any help appreciated.
  10. Hi, I’m a sonographer and applied for 189 10/02/23 still waiting for an invitation round to happen. Recently decided to apply for 190 VIC 24/04/23 and submitted ROI the same day. 02/05/23 I’ve received an email saying I’ve been selected to apply for 190 and signed the declaration. Once that’s assessed… I believe there’s priority for certain occupations so could be within 5 business days, they’ll send an invite through skill select to go ahead and apply for the visa. Hope this helps, I was surprised how quick it was. Think you’ll be contacted soon enough as you’re a teacher.
  11. Hi, is it an issue if I have 2 separate EOI for the 190? One for WA and one for VIC. I’m a healthcare professional hoping to be invited to apply for 190 VIC through their current fast track for certain occupations. Prior to submitting this EOI, I have already got an EOI submitted for WA 190 should I suspend the WA one? I know some states want commitment to their state nomination only… please help thanks
  12. Thanks for that. my next question is whether on a 491 you’re eligible for childcare subsidy or is it permanent residence only? about 6 months ago it did say 190/491 may be eligible if the bill passed but not been able to find info on it since…
  13. Does anyone know if putting in a EOI for 190 visa offshore in WA, you’d need a full time job offer? Just think it’s difficult to secure a full time job when not actually in the country or knowing when we’d get there pending visa invite/approval? I’ve put in for 189 as a sonographer, positive skills assessment obtained just wondering whether it’s worth also putting in for 190. Confused by the job contract part. TIA
