    Hi Linda, Yes, I remember that one. But that is the only case that I have seen for May. My application submission and ack is in April so haven't been able to make sense out of that. I thought the applications were being processed serially as they were filed. Would be good to know if anyone has been called for docs after March 17, 2017 or in April. Thank you.

    Latest I found on social media forum is someone getting invited for an application acknowledged on March 17, 2017 has one adult and one 20 YO dependent. Has anyone else seen any invites post that date? Thanks.

    Hi there, Go to the top right corner of the page where it displays your username, drop down, select "Account Settings", Under "Signature" on the left, add your timeline as signature and save. Hope this helps.

    Thanks Linda. That is good to hear! Hopefully, we could get some response soon! Do you mind sharing the link of any such post? The young one is anxious given the long wait and hopefully, this will calm some nerves!

    That is strange indeed. We filed for the CPV 143 with one dependent on April 5, 2017 with acknowledgement on April 10, 2017 and haven't received any communication from the department yet. Wonder if anyone who has filed in March or April of 2017 heard anything?

    Hi All, I read on one of the other forums that this week in the interim Oct budget (following the election of the new government). The government have announced that they are increasing the quota of Parent Visas to be issued in this year (July 2022 to June 2023) from 4,500 (year 2021-22) to 8,500. It has been updated here: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/what-we-do/migration-program-planning-levels Sounds like people who filed in 2017 first half should be more hopeful of getting the invites!

    Thank you LindaH27. I am assuming that this is considering the increased quota for this year. Let's see how we go with this. I am aware of the Nov 2016 and it is unfortunate given the fact that I planned my immigration based on the timelines then (2 years or so for subclass 143 processing). Let's see how we all go with this.

    Hello All, I applied for Subclass 143 for my mother and dependent brother in April 2017. I read on this thread that someone who filed application in Dec 2016 has been invited. Given the quota per year, what are the chances of getting an invite for someone who filed in April 2017? Based on the info in this GM Visa pdf, there are about 3000+ applications before the department gets to April 2017. Any inputs would be appreciated. Thank you.
