If you are the primary applicant and you have your email then you will receive one invite which covers everyone , your invite should say something to indicate that this invite is extended to your family as well , I have not receive any invite but I am saying this because this is what happen to one of my friend
They will ask you for the one that you have submitted with your VISA application, Birth Certificate is the most important they can even ask for you a birth certificate even if you have submitted a family registration certificate, so I would recommend that you should have your birth certificate with you.
It should not only if you receive a court notice you need to update them , however during the interview they might ask you for any traffic fine and make sure you tell them about your recent fine and that’s it , don’t worry
Approval time varies a lot so don't worry, you have to wait until the advertised process time which I believe is 18 months from the date of application to the decision.
Do you have marriage certificate? Her old passport ? I submitted my wife old passport and then later at the time of interview they asked for Marriage certificate which I submitted as well , note that if your marriage certificate is not in English they will ask for both Original and it’s true English translation

The timeline varies significantly, some get in in hours, others have to wait for weeks, months, and sometimes more than a year so as long as your application progress is under the given processing time you should be fine.
No change of name and no police clearance asked I did have a lots of travelling before and after getting PR that seems to me a only reason unless they investigating something that I am not aware of.
