I really hope you get there very soon, it is very emotional and frustrating, hopefully we fly this coming week to see our children and grandchildren we haven’t met yet. It’s been tough but light at the end of the tunnel. Best of luck to you.

I am sorry to read of all of you having such problems getting your visas. It's frustrating, annoying but perhaps most of all, upsetting. I hope you all receive your visas soon and can go and reunite with your families.

I think we have been very fortunate, after 9 days we received our exemption last night and tonight our visas came through, the relief is immense as we can now go and see our children and meet two new granddaughters. Good luck to all of you still waiting to hear and thank you all for your input, information and ideas.

John Thank you. It certainly does seem to be very random! We applied for the visa last Thursday (Aus time) then exemption the next day the following day so we had a TRN number to quote. REALLY, really hoping we hear soon, my nerves won't take waiting for too long!! Paula

Hi everyone. Thank you for all the information. Myself and husband are hoping to go to Australia in March to see our children and meet new grandchildren. We applied for the visa and exemption last week and I was beginning to really worry that we hadn't heard about either but having read these comments, it's put my mind at ease a little ......I'll start panicking in a couple of weeks!! Can't wait to go and hope we don't have to move our dates. I hope all of you who are still waiting, receive your visa/exemption soon.
