Adding spouse to visa subclass 482 on the basis of marriage certificate.

Seeking opinion on the below scenario. I am currently on working visa (subclass 482) and got married lately. I want to add my wife to this visa. While I am preparing to add her on my work visa, is it okay to apply visitor visa for now? Or its worth waiting for spouse visa to be lodged and granted? Will visitor visa application (or visitor visa grant) will affect my wife's spouse visa on 482?

@Parley thanks, But the link doesn't clarify the doubt that I have. it says - While in self-quarantine, you must not share bedrooms, bathrooms or any other facilities with any other person who is not self-quarantining (for example, people outside your travelling party). Does it mean they can still live with us on 1st floor and we can live on ground floor (in a double storey house) without need to do a self-quarantine?

Anyone who is arriving in Melbourne, for self-quarantine requirement, can they live with the family but having their own room and bathroom? will it be considered as private space? or people living in the same house will have to do the quarantine as well? Any suggestion?

Just wondering, if anyone's known family member is travelling from Delhi to Melbourne on 13th Dec through Srilankan airlines. My parents are visiting on this day, and was wondering if they can accompany someone as this is their first time.

Thanks @paulhand Any idea on exemption timeline these days? We applied on 10/11 but no response as yet. However, the visa was granted on 16/11.

@paulhand thank you. Have you seen any case where Exemption come after visa is granted? I thought the trigger for visa approval is Exemption application.

I applied parents visa (600) on 18th Oct and then travel exemption on 10th Nov. Visa was granted Yesterday (16th Nov) but Still waiting for exemption to granted. Any idea why exemption isn't granted as yet? Also, anyone had their parents visited from India to Melbourne? Is there any other formality? Like covid-test, quarantine etc? any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

@Kamlesh Thanks. So, apparently, exemption and visa was approved on the same day? What document did you submit to show your relation with the parents?

Congrats Kamlesh, what date your exemption was granted? and how many days after exemption the visa was granted? I also applied visa for my wife's parents and have the similar timelines, so just wondering when should I expect.
