It will be determined by a variety of variables, including the requirements of the assessing body for your chosen occupation and the points you can earn for migration purposes.

To go over your alternatives, I'd recommend scheduling an appointment with a good (and obviously registered) migration agency.

You'll need a Tax File Number, which is similar to a national insurance number. You'll need to apply for one once you've arrived in Australia, and you may do so online.
