AGB1066

Hi all, Great to see this forum! My wife (Canadian) and I (Brit) have PR (since 2014), and now an Aussie son :) We are applying for our citizenship here but because I've been in the US a bunch of times since 2014 I have to also get a character clearance from there. It seems as though it needs to be the FBI fingerprint version (https://au.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/local-resources-of-u-s-citizens/fbi-check/) and not the simple Aus Post one (https://auspost.com.au/police-checks/international). I was wondering if 1. this is correct? and 2. if anyone had used a third party company to expedite the process with the FBI? Many thanks in advance for any advice!
