Hi -- my friend is from Indonesia and his Student Visa finishes in two weeks. He has an application pending for a new visa and so will have a Bridging Visa A in the meantime.
His agent says that the student visa work conditions will continue on the Bridging visa.
The problem is -- the agent says that the government has changed the rules and he can now only work in a "care" / "disability" industry. Is that right?
Since his studies have finished I would have thought that he has "unrestricted" work rights until the new visa is granted.
