While giving the interview, the lady told me you have been waiting for a while you want to do virtual ceremony it will be quicker and i said okay for that. Did you apply from Sydney too? My citizenship timeline: July 2nd 2019: citizenship applied march 27 2020: 1st invitation for interview and test cancelled due to covid August 7 2020: 2nd invitation for interview and test cancelled due to covid. September 2nd 2020: finally did test and interview, got approval same day.

Hi Everyone, I gave my citizenship test on 2nd September 2020, and it was approved on same day. While giving interview the lady told me that i was waiting for a while to give the test as i applied for citizenship on 2nd July 2019 and if i would prefer online citizenship ceremony as it would be faster and i agreed. It has been more than 4 months i haven’t got the ceremony invite yet, wanted to know if anyone has experience this or got approval around that time. I am from Sydney. Thank you.
