  1. To be honest, I would rather relate it to my Russian citizenship. However, it might be the case of the position that is not in PMSOL, the number of applicants, bad luck or something else; kind of guessing game. There are people here waiting since 2019...
  2. I am in a similar boat (applied earlier than you, April 2020). Well, according to the disclosure logs the Department publishes, there have been few offshore applicants that got their PR grants in 2020 and 2021 (and even earlier in this theme you could find a post from one of these lucky guys). This gives some hope although not really a lot.
  3. It's a pity they don't report on-/offshore numbers. What is the difference between the first two and second two tables? Nominated occupation vs. occupation? What is a nominated occupation?
  4. I am waiting almost 6 months (offshore), the job code is not in the PMSOL list.
  5. Were there any home versions of English language tests before the pandemic? According to @paulhand in the topic Home Edition TOEFL here on Pomsinoz, in May there was no decision on this matter. But according to @mariaandmike, it looks like the decision was there in June. P.S. My spouse took the TOEFL iBT Home Edition in the first wave, in the beginning of April, that’s why we are also thinking whether the second test should be taken.
  6. New statistics for visa subclass 186 both on- and offshore for June and July 2020 is available here: https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/foi/files/2020/fa-200800641-document-released.PDF

  8. Hi guys, I have been a silent reader as well. Here is my status 186 DE Position: University Lecturer Onshore: No State: ACT Number of applicant: 4 (all offshore) Nomination applied: before 15 April 2020 Visa applied: 15 April 2020 Health check completed: 5 March 2020 Patricius, I am in a similar situation, although my visa was applied earlier. I was told by the agent that the Department is processing offshore 186 visa applications but quite slowly. You might check up the statistics for March-June 2020 the Department provides on the official website. The statistics, however, does not sound optimistic for us, university lecturers, because zero 186 visas were granted to offshore university lecturers during the period April-June 2020.
