Hi everyone, wonder if anyone can help. My husband and I have a temporary shortage skill visa and would like to apply for permanent residence. My understanding is that permanent residencies are not being accepted because of the current situation, but we can still apply for expression of interest?, Also, I have the visa which is electronic on my passport which is currently expired and I am unable to obtain a new one since I need to go in person to the Embassy in Canberra and because of the situation, it is very difficult, would the system or expression of interest would still allow me to input my details even if the expiration date of the passport is finished?? the main applicant would be my husband, but i assume i have to put my details too and even though my visa is electronic on my current passport, it is expired.
