    Agent Recommendations

Hi again all, I just wondered who has used an agent recently and could recommend someone. I was supposed to have a consultation with a MARA registered agent just now, but she has emailed saying she tried to call and I have to re-book (which I wont be doing after eagerly awaiting the appointment for 2 weeks!). If there is anyone who you know of who is MARA registered and is good with medical issues (Hypopituitarism from removal a prolactinoma tumour to be precise) then please let me know as we are eager to get the ball rolling. Many thanks in advance

Were so jealous! How does it feel? Have you got accommodation sorted? Was saying goodbye emotional? So many questions haha

Fortunately we're not big on having "stuff" so de cluttering shouldn't be a massive issue, but good call nonetheless!

Ramsbottom has become really "hip" and we love it, lots of bars and restaurants (although we did recently get a Starbucks and that caused uproar). If we can find somewhere similar in Aus then all the better

It is a shame, but it is what it is. If all else fails I suppose there is New Zealand or Canada to try!

This is beginning to look like it's going to be a very difficult journey!

She's not, she's in early intervention but would like to do CBT. She is hoping to do further training before we go - she has the luxury of age on her side!

Both questions I guess. My degree was a 4 year languages with interpreting and translation course, plus a 5th year doing the PGCE. It seems that Eastern Asian languages are more popular than European ones so I wondered if any French/Spanish teachers had managed to get a visa and a job before.

Sorry, I was just being facetious - we have lived together for a long time, but with no plans to marry ever. Got an appointment booked.

Thanks for this, we have an appointment early July with a MARA registered agent for exactly this reason. Based on the calculations I've done it doesn't seem that the cost of her condition would pass the threshold, but we'll see

Hi does anyone know if there is currently a need for Modern Foreign Languages teachers? We are hoping to apply for either a 189 or 491 (my "de facto" girlfriend is in Mental Health and I have been a teacher in the UK for 11 years.

Ah yes of course. We are at the very beginning of our journey, not even out in EOI yet so we are a long way behind you! I'm already nervous, but excited haha

I can imagine it's going to be stressful getting rid of all the stuff I've accumulated over the years - I'm not even the kind of person who keeps hold of things for sentimental value, yet I still seem to have a ridiculous amount of "stuff"!
