I submitted my application on 20th July and ANMAC started to process it on 17th August. I was still waiting for one professional reference at this point but as soon as I uploaded it on 28th September my positive skills assessment arrived on 30th September. I'm guessing if all my documents were present in August it would have been done quicker. I hope this helps

How long did the process take for you?

That's great news! I am right at the start of the process, currently collecting documents and organising English tests so that I can submit all my details to ANMAC. I have a long way to go yet! I believe they currently have a smaller list of medical occupations that they are accepting applications from and a midwife is listed on there. If you have any advice or tips I would.be extremely grateful

@KangaKit Were you successful in getting state sponsorship? I am also a midwife hoping to apply for a 491 Visa in Queensland
