Hi Maria, Apologies for asking here as well(I started a thread but did not get reply) .I applied for my parents as well and my father being the primary applicant and my mother being the dependent, I filled the form 47a for my mother and form 47pa for my father, and paid 6k something fees as first installement, Do we as a children need to fill 47a as well considering we are independent. Note - I am yet to receive the acknowledgment and receipt from them. Any suggestion or help will be really appreciated. Apologies again for asking it here

Hi Guys, I applied for 804 visa, I wanted to know if only main applicant has to fill 47pa and his partner who is dependent has to fill 47A, None of the childrens who are independent do they have to fill the 47A form also ?? Can anybody please provide his experience or suggestions

Ok so how did you know the Bridging Visa automatically starts, Does it show somewhere?

Also I gave around 4k fees for primary my father and for mother as a dependent partner as 2k something

Thanks for the reply, My documents reached yesterday, And Yes I maid the payment through Credit card (Paypal linked) and also attached the payment receipt number with the application, I hope I get the acknowledgment email in due time. One more thing did you fill the form 47A , I mean as a children because I only sent 47pa by the main applicant and 47A by the partner as a dependent along-with sponsor form and other documents needed.

Hi , I recently applied for the 804 visa and all the necessary documents have reached the parent visa centre. I want to know how many days does it take to to receive acknowledgement and the bridging visa. I am asking this as they have not specified on their website . Will really Appreciate to share his/her experience If someone has gone through the process . I am little concern because my parents current visa expires on 5 th June 2020 and in their website they have just mentioned that the Bridging visa activates one current visa expires so wil it gets automatically granted ??
