Hi guys, My parents applied for 143 visa in 2016 and they have only received the aknowledgement of application since then. no AoS or anything yet. My brother is the sponsor for them and he travelled overseas late last year to work there, is there a way to replace him by myself as a sponsor? Thanks

One more question, can they get it while they are onshore? Is contacting you for the AOS is the first step after applying? what is the following steps? Thanks

Hi All, I have applied for 143 for my family in Dec 2016 and then recently applied for the temp 870 visa and got it. Will that affect my outcome for the 143 visa ? as I am still waiting and I find it confusing. It mentions here https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/contributory-parent-143 that "not have a Sponsored Parent (Temporary) (Subclass 870) visa when applying for this visa". Not sure if that gonna apply on my parents in that case or not? Any help please?
