  1. I am at the tail end of 13 month processing time and I have watched it get pushed back from 5-6 months. Various reasons to worry really. What if I get rejected? What if I got stood down or fired? What if govt isnt granting the visa for my ANZSCO code anymore? etc2
  2. NSW onshore from Dec 2019. Front loaded everything. Did additional medical in Jan 2020 but no CO contact whatsoever. Prolly due it not being priority occupation? But it's almost 13 months now and I'm just crossing all my fingers. Pretty anxious all in all.
  3. @rob550 Do you earn more than 150k p.a.? @Christiane I'm guessing by study you mean you are pursuing PhD and not just some kind of random degrees...
  4. As per seekvisa (dated Sep 2020, so not sure how accurate it is now) https://www.seekvisa.com.au/state-requirements-for-190-visa/ I'm also waiting on 190 and my occpation isnt in the above list. But yeah looking pretty grim EDIT: Newer info from another thread https://www.peakmigration.com.au/news/2020/day/10/2020-21-budget-planning-levels-remain-at-160000-partner-visa-places-up-82-per-cent-sponsor-framework-and-english-language-tests-soon
  5. Saw this on the ImmiAccount portal: Also mentioned in this link https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/help-support/meeting-our-requirements/english-language Hope it helps
  6. The visa situation ended up distracting me from my daily lives instead! I was fine till couple months ago.. But when 6 months passed by without any contact whatsoever... Ahh, it'd suck if I have to redo everything. But as long as it comes out I guess.. Finger crossed for both of us!
  7. Thanks for the clarification! The waiting game is fueling my anxiety
  8. Noticed that the processing time has now been updated to 5-8 months (from 5-6 months I believe?). Aware that 190 is on hold atm. So how does the processing time reflect the actual process? I submitted my 190 application after getting the invite in mid Dec last year. Had also done another health check up late Jan this year, but I haven't got any CO contact so far Looking at MyImmiTracker, seems like very few applicants from Dec onward are getting either DG or even a CO contact. Doesn't seem like 75% of us are getting processed within 5 months? I can't possibly be the only remaining 10%? Also if the occupation ends up getting axed from STSOL, would it affect my outcome as I have already received the state nomination? Quite a lot of redundancy in similar roles but I'm thankfully still employed. Since my EOI application last year, my points have increased by 5 due to work experience. Would re-applying with higher points increases my chance at this stage? I am onshore, applying for Marketing Specialist in NSW. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
  9. Submitted mine in Dec, updated with medical in Jan. No contact from CO so far.
  10. Influx of applications for certain types of jobs e.g. accounting and the latest introduction of relationship status in visa application (which is like +10 for most people without dependant)
  11. I got invited on Dec 2019 with 100 points. Visa still hasnt come out though, still waiting. But, I'd say 95 is the minimum for marketing. Hope this helps
