  5. Hi guys, My day has come today, got my so called golden email!! Still shaken, it’s been a long emotional journey, please ask me if you guys have any questions. I sincerely pray for each and everyone of you to get your PR soon. Much Love
  6. May I ask regarding the complain you sent? Did your MA sent an direct email to the case officer or you did you do it some other way. Cheers
  7. I submitted the documents on 21st of December after winning AAT and have been waiting since, it’s been almost 4years journey and I don’t know how long they will make me suffer
  8. Well again, which stream are we talking? I am TRT and I had be to employed full time for 2 years before I could even apply for 187 visa, if you’re talking about DE then yes you can get this visa without stepping into your potential place of work. The person you were replying to mentioned that he has concern that his AAT decision might be affected due to reduced number of hours, what this tells me? He or she is more likely TRT (457 visa), reduced number of hours is a cause of concern? Absolutely but immigration and AAT is taking account of reduced number of hours due to COVID-19, I won AAT while I wasn’t even working due to Covid-19 but I have been employed full time for number of years so that was in my favour. Condition of 457 is you have to be working full time for your employer and you have the option of applying 187visa after your 2yrs of full time employment. You really think everyone on here are offshore? As far as I know you cannot go to AAT if you’re an offshore applicant (I might be wrong but that’s what I have been told by my migration agent). Only employers can go to AAT for nomination only as they are Australian based. If you’re an offshore applicant this forum is useless for you. Well guess I don’t really know how offshore applicants start their work with an employer before the grant of the visa when he will get the entry only after the grant of the visa. But very good question, I’ll let someone else answer that
  9. You are giving people wrong information, subclass 187 has a condition that you have to be working full time for your employer for a period 2years after the grant and prior to getting a visa, if you’re not working for your employer full time then there is a higher chance that you won’t win AAT, there are exceptions for reduced number of work hours affected due to COVID-19. You can have mutual agreement with your employer to part ways in that 2year period after the grant but you have to prove you made a genuine attempt to stay with the employer, if your employer notify the department that you have ended your employment before the 2yrs obligatory period than your 187 visa gets cancelled. Please don’t give people wrong information and whoever reads this thread don’t make any decisions without talking to your registered migration agent. Thanks
  10. Unfortunately you are in a very difficult situation and if your company doesn’t support you then AAT will refuse your nomination. New company cannot fight for you as your nomination is for the current company you are working for. I’d suggest you to talk to a migration agent ASAP or you will run out time. You will definitely have to apply for a new visa. Hope this helps and good luck
  11. You need to talk to a good migration agent to explore other options because your situation doesn’t sound good. Good luck, I hope everything works out
  12. What is your occupation? You still have to continue working for the employer and if you’re stood down then it’s ok. If your employer doesn’t want you to work until you get your visa then unfortunately it’s not a good news as AAT will ask you to provide payslips.
  13. Hi Leticia, No news unfortunately, I feel for you as everyday is harder with uncertainty but keep your chin up and hopefully you will hear something soon. For me it’s going to be 4months next week.
  14. I tried calling them too, all they said was we don’t have a processing time for cases after AAT win, got told to keep an eye on my emails for any correspondence from the department and wait. Sick of this really....by the way I won AAT in May.
  15. Xoxo, Manny congratulations, very well deserved, I’m very happy for you and wish you all the best for the new beginning.
  16. Hi Appy, No advise yet, my MA is just saying to wait and be patient.
  17. I feel for you, I have been waiting for over 2 months and it feels ages. Hopefully soon
  18. Yea that was all done 2 months ago
  19. I am in the same situation, hope this gets sorted out soon
  20. No unfortunately I haven’t heard anything, this wait has been killing me and I’m soo frustrated, I have already waited over 3yrs now. I think all the Victorian visa application is on hold due to stricter restrictions. Let’s hope for good news soon.
  21. Hi Leticia, sorry I didn’t quite understand your question?
  22. Sorry I just remembered you’re from vic too, I wish you best of luck
  23. That is soo bad, I hope you get your PR soon. Which state are you from again?
  24. Hi, How long have you been waiting for visa approval? It’s been 5 weeks for me since I have submitted all the required documents to immi and haven’t heard anything since, not sure how long they take.
  25. Hi Leticia, I do have a migration agent but I like to keep on top of things, it’s due to lack to migration agent forward thinking I got my visa rejected and had to go through AAT. You should make an immi account and import your application, you will be able to see everything that your agent has done, you will your application reference number to import your application. I have already done my Medicals, Police Check and Form80...these are the 3 documents was asked my immi after the nomination approved. I am just waiting for my visa now, it’s been 4 weeks now, hopefully good news is not too far. Feel free to ask me any question you have.
