  1. Hi @Sam2000, didn’t know when the nomination was approved as only my MA has full access to my application.
  2. 186 DE (already in AU) Job: Software Engineer Visa/Nomination Lodged: 20-Jan-2020 Health Clearance: 29-Jan-2020 Visa App FINALISED: 13-Feb-2020 I’m one of those “I just checked this morning and it was still Received”! It is true that it didn’t need to undergo all those statuses. From Received to Finalised real quick! Can’t contain mg happiness right now. I hope everyone gets theirs too soon!
  3. I just received a great news today! Our application has just been granted! I’m shaking now as I’m typing this message. Keep the faith!
  4. Yes and yes. Withdrawal of the application is, I think, the best option now. Also, the result of your current application may possibly affect future applications. Again, you should consult your lawyer. Ask him about all legal options. All the best!
  5. As your former company is the one who has nominated you for visa 186, there is no way CO will not be able to know that the company has closed already. One of the requirements for the nomination is for the company to prove their stability and income but in your case, the company has closed totally. I’m afraid your chance for 186 is very low due to the said closure and that the nomination will be rejected in the first place. Listen to your lawyer. He knows better. I agree that your visa needs to be transferred to any company who is willing to hire you or to nominate you for visa 186.
  6. Based on the latest comments here, the trend suggests that they’re addressing those applications lodged in Sep-Oct 2019. Seems like it.
  7. BTW, I have a question. Why do others do not provide Heath Assessment result right after submitting the application? I was requested by my MA to have the health assessment as soon as he submitted my application. Is it something that is requested by CO or does it really come after app submission? Just curious.
  8. This waiting game is killing me hope to hear good news tomorrow! Good luck to us!
  9. Question: If I don’t have full access to my application (since I only linked my application to my immiaccount and MA has access to it), HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN THE NOMINATION HAS BEEN APPROVED? Can I see it via my immiaccount where my app is linked? Will there be any messages? TIA! PS MA receives the comms, emails.
  10. Does anyone know until what time do COs work on weekdays? Just want to set my mind to calm my nerves on waiting
  11. It’s supposed to be until 3pm today. But just checked it and it’s back now.
  12. There’s a scheduled maintenance on immiaccount right now. Hope to hear good news as soon as it’s back online.
  13. Hi @NickB89 if you get your PR finalised before May2020 (or at the time of labor), your baby should get au citizen status. However, if your application is still in progress by then, FAMILY should still be under 482 — or bridging visa if your 482 expires before PR is finalised. Hope that CO doesn’t ask for a new medical exam as pregnant women are not allowed to have X RAY nor excused to undergo one. If this happens, you will have to wait until baby is out and the risk of not being able to submit the medical result within a given ‘strict’ period is high.
