nope. our bags were there when we got done with customs and we were then sent right to the bus. Quarantine for me is not that bad. still plenty of days left but you just need to find some activity to pass time

It took us about 2 hours to get to the hotel. They check temperature first so that takes a bit of time. For customs, you just need your passport, they wont even ask from grant letter but still just keep it with you.

I received my 309 grant yesterday. Date of Lodgement was 5th June 2019. One RFI was requested and no interview was conducted. Processing office was Islamabad.

Spouse can travel on visit visa. I suggest if anyone wants to apply one then apply Visitor visa family sponsored stream and apply travel exemption on the same day. I got visa in 11 days and I did not even have to provide Bio-metrics.

i am still waiting for my 309 visa however, i got a visit visa for 6 months. so I am thinking whether to go or not

I have noticed that Qatar has been cancelling a lot of flights. I have a ticket booked with emirates for 11th august and my seat is still confirmed.

I hope you get your visa soon Ameen. Please inform us when you do. My case officer asked me for police clearance and bank statement in April 2020 and I have not heard anything from them yet.

I emailed the Islamabad Office more than a month ago. They never bothered to reply.

I applied on the same date as you. Hope we both get our visas soon Ameen. I heard of 5 more people from pakistan who got their visas today.
