1 July 2020 Update to Victoria’s subclass 491, 190, 188 and 132 visa nomination programs The Victorian Government’s state nomination program will remain temporarily closed while we await the Commonwealth Government’s allocation of state nomination places for 2020-21. In the meantime, you will not be able to apply for the following state nomination visas: Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) (subclass 491) visa Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa Business Innovation stream (subclass 188A) (Provisional) visa Investor stream (subclass 188B) (Provisional) visa Significant Investor stream (subclass 188C) (Provisional) visa Entrepreneur stream (subclass 188E) (Provisional) visa Significant Business History (subclass 132A) (Permanent) visa Venture Capital Entrepreneur (subclass 132B) (Permanent) visa We will notify you when the 2020-21 Victorian state nomination program reopens after further advice from the Commonwealth Government. You can still lodge your Expression of Interest (EOI) through the Commonwealth’s Department of Home Affairs SkillSelect system. An EOI will be required before you can apply for a Victorian visa nomination.

Any updates ?? It’s 24 months today , still no reply from immigration department. visa 188 A Victoria.

Congratulations, I am still waiting a reply from my case officer. My visa is 188A since 25 June 2018. I submitted a complaint though my agent but still no response. one question please, do you get the information from your officer by email or that comment was sent to your immi acount?

I had submitted my application 23 months ago in June 2018 and the file sent to an officer 7 months ago. no news till date.

Now, It is 7 months since I submitted the additional documents to my case officer and still no news.

Hi all, Did anyone knows when will the travel restrictions clear? I read in other forum that it will last for other three or four months.



Actually, the file had been submitted in October 17th. 2019.

I had submitted my application 22 months ago and the file sent to an officer 6 months ago. no news till date.

I got an update from my agent today. She was notified that 188 visas applications are closed. Existing applications are being processed. I hope to hear something soon.

I think the higher priority at the moment are Business visas not work visas.

I think all the officers are working from home.
