  1. Good to see some more grants come through! Congratulations guys!! I applied from Sweden so thought it would be going through the London embassy but not until they asked me to leave the country I realized it was processed through Berlin. London and Berlin had a median time of 190/191 days in the fiscal year 17-18 though but they might not be working in the same pace anymore.. To to answer your questions, no kids, not married, don’t own anything together. Together since 2016. Frontloaded everything, but this was over 2 months time. Had all my police checks ready (Sweden, Norway, aus) when I applied, sponsors Australian pc, he also reached 12 months in Sweden just after we applied so we got his Swedish police check too. 2,5 months after application I did medical. I had 3x stat dec from non Australian residents 4x form 888 Highlighted bank statements, both joint and personal accounts. Nature of the household was mainly proven through the statement in the online form as well as with screenshots of messages between discussing grocery shopping, washing or chopping firewood etc. Social aspect were proven through photos of our snowboards + receipts, seasonal ski passes with both names, silly selfies of us bowling solely to use as evidence haha, photos of us out in the snow, receipt with both names renting down hill mountain bikes, this was all in one pdf called “mutual interests” Another pdf under social aspects was “mutual friends” this was proven through photos with friends at different occasions, screenshot of our friendship on Facebook showing how long we’ve been friends + 140+ mutual friends. 6x pdf, each of them containing one overseas trip (flights, hotel, transport, 1xphoto) Photos of presents to each other, photos of Christmas cards sent from us to his family. We made each other super beneficiaries, put each other down as spouses on the tax returns, made each other emergency contacts in the “health app”. Messages between me and his family, messages between him and my family. lease agreements x4, only had one gas bill and phone bills together as bills has always been included where we have lived. I kept attaching updates regularly, when I arrived back in aus I made one pdf containing; new lease agreement, contact with landlord (as we are looking after his dog too), shared phone contract, joint account bank statement for the last month (showing rent/bond etc paid for the new place), messages between us as we’d been apart for a month, messages between sponsors grandparents and applicant (as they picked me up at the airport), messages between sponsor and applicants mum, sponsors birthday present to applicant (I had my birthday while we were apart) Applicants flights to Australia listing sponsor as emergency contact Hopefully someone found that helpful, in case you second guessing yourself, I know I was!! There is is also a group on Facebook called “Partner visa Australia” if someone is interested and didn’t know about it
  2. Hey @Ryem, I just looked at the date you lodged and when you did medical. They are quite similar to mine (lodged April 15, medical July 2nd) I think that’s a smart move as your medical would expire 14 months after application which should be super safe! Hopefully they don’t need anything else than what you have provided! I keep checking in here to see how you guys are going, my visa came through on Monday (left Australia on Sunday night). They gave me subclass 100 straight up which was more than I ever dared hoping for!! Fingers crossed for everyone!!
  3. I left Sweden on a 12 months 600 visa with Thai air on a one way ticket and wasn’t questioned. There was someone here on the forum having trouble a while back though but can’t remember airline/airport? My plan was to book a random open ticket home if someone questioned me
  4. Thank you!! It is a way bigger relief than I had imagined! Ive only been here for two weeks, on a 12 months subclass 600. Let me know if you have any questions about the process!
  5. Just got my email to leave Australia to grant my visa!!!!!! The email did however come from Berlin (I’m swedish and applied from Sweden so wasn’t sure where it would be processed) Applied 15/4/19, front loaded no RFI’s. Good luck to everyone else waiting
  6. Hey @Nichola Gail, I just arrived Australia last week on a visitor visa. What I did was to submit a “change in circumstances” form notifying them of my planned trip to Aus. After arriving I updated my address accordingly and posted a pdf with a short cover letter explaining our current situation, new lease agreement, phone plan in both names etc. Not it sure if I’ve done this “right”, but seemed like the logical way to do it As soon they have asked you to leave and you do so, they will automatically get notified of this as you scan your passport on departure. The visa usually comes through as you’re on the flight out of aus, but they want you to allow 5 business days just in case of any delays.
  7. Evisitor 651 allows you to stay up to 3 months, 600 can be granted for 6 or 12 months and means you don’t have to leave every 3 months
  8. And I just attached proof of funds and a cover letter, I was about to attach a letter from employer as well but the visa was was approved before I had the chance of doing it
  9. Hi guys! Long time lurker here, thought it was time to contribute with my timeline in case there will be some movement soon that can help others. I am however not sure whether London or Berlin is processing my application as I’m a Swedish citizen applying from Sweden. Either way Berlin had a median time of 190 days and London 191 days during the fiscal year 17-18. So processing time may still be fairly similar. Lodge 309/100 April 15 2019 Medical done July 2nd Front loaded with all our police checks. Been in a de facto relationship since 1st of December 2016. No kids. 12 months subclass 600 granted in 3 days, leaving this Sunday for Australia to await decision. Fingers crossed for everyone here in the forum, the grant letter will come soon for all of us!!
